The Wizard quotes a fair moneyline on a 6 point spread as being - 222 but I think he meant not considering the juice. Sportility quotes it at -245 which sounds about right. A two team teaser betting the fave with both teams having a 6 pt. spread will pay 10/11 which means a $100 bet will get you $91 profit. If you bet $100 on the first team at -245 your profit will be $41. If you now parlay your $141 (original bet + profit) on the 2nd team at -245 this will get you $57 profit. $57 + $41 = $98 which is much better than the $91 you get back on the teaser. This makes the 2 team 6 point teaser look like a terrible deal. Of course the spread is not that often going to be -6 but still it looks like parlays or if bets on the moneyline are a much better deal. Right or wrong? Of course if it's a Wong teaser where you move the spread on to or off of a 3 or 7 depending on which way you bet you do get a better deal. Obviously referring to football.

Teasing a six point favorite to a pick is a bad deal. That doesn't mean teasers are bad, nor always worse than moneyline parlays. If you try your formula on other possible scenarios other than merely -6 to 0, you will see the opposite is often true
