Do we need to arrive super early to lock up a space?
The Plaza redid their book. I don't know how crowded it gets, but I don't think you can beat the price.

They have a cigar lounge with a classy pool table.
Drinks are free with minimal play $20 in a machine playing VP slowly should be enough, tip $2 a drink an your golden (Sometimes food is comped), they have specials, giveaways and promotion. The food is good(not just typical bar food) , normally they have hot young bartenders dressed in skimpy outfits jumping around cheering.
Average cost per person assuming no one wins and you blow $20 each on machines should be $55, if you eat.

I appreciate the input. Part of the draw for us will be thunderous cheering from happy gamblers at big events in the games. Is this something that I can except here?
Thats something I sometimes dislike. Especially some high pitched, overly loud, screening female who really just likes the attention.Quote: bigfoot66I appreciate the input. Im not sure you'll Get thunderous cheering from any sports book or bar, I'm fairly certain it's a tie anyplace you go.
Find the guy who is talking the most and loudest about his bet(s) and bet the opposing team.Quote: mcallister3200My favorite sportsbook is probably silverton, huge tv's, plenty of seating. Lvh/Westgate has the "superbook" or whatever you want to call it is nice too and will have more fans than silverton if that's what you want. Other people constantly talking about their bets and telling you what to bet annoys the crap out of me. Every book has that know it all that's what usually keeps me on my couch unless it's a game I really want to see that I don't get.

A few of my coworkers always telling me how "bet the over it's a lock" or "can't believe they're only giving up ___ points, that's crazy" kind of stuff. But after the game, they're pissed off, "I can't believe the ___ didn't cover, that game was such a lock" or whatever.
I never hear them talking about any wins, either. Whenever they bitch, I ask if they had any wins. They didn't. They only bet the "locks" and "easy winners".
You'd think, if you've lost every single sports bet, or damn near every bet, maybe you're not doing something right.
