Currently William Hill is offering the Heat to win the NBA Championship at -300. I know laying $3000 to win $1000 is a risk, but I almost think it is worth it. IMO, Memphis is the only team that could beat the Heat, but I still don't think they could beat the Heat in the best of seven. While I think Indiana matches up well against the Heat, I just don't see them winning 4 of 7. Other lines include: Memphis: 5/1, Spurs: 5/1, Pacers: 12/1, Warriors 10/1, Knicks 25/1, Thunder 40/1, and Bulls 300/1.
Any thoughts?

I agree it's a good bet.

Since I continue to believe that the NBA is just a step or two above Pro Wrestling, and believe that the Heat as winners has been pre-determined, I would think that it's a reasonable risk. The risk being that one of the officials doesn't play ball, so to speak, probably because they have a bet on the other side.

BTW, I'm all for eliminating officiating from every game. Use technology, change the rules, etc. After all, it is hard to bribe a machine.....although I guess you can give a new app to play with..........
