Hi everyone,
Im new to the site and hope some of you can help me. I am reposting this as I think i posted it somewherei shouldnt have and cant find the thread anymore.
I would like to try and win some money back if I can. If not, so be it. I joined up at Jackpot City Casino approx two weeks ago. I am new to this online casino but certainly no stanger to microgaming software. I decided t start at a new place and log all games that I play on an excel sheet. My queries are as follows:
* If i am playing a slot machine - where I have had a decent win playing $1 per spin, and then change to $1.50 per spin - does the pay out percentage start from scratch at the higher waged amount? Or do I combine the amounts for my percentage on that slot?
* Another question, if my percentage for a particular slot is very poor (say, 40%)..surely I can expect to win some of my money back eventually, right? there is a particular slot I have been playing and have had around 500x $1 spins and have a pecentage of around 40%. Surely it needs to give me a little back soon?
* Has anyone noticed a distinct difference in Microgaming online casinos? I have played at several now and have definitely found patterns in the way they pay out.
* Finally, if you are awarded a 'bonus' from a casino, does this count in your win percentage? A microgaming casino I have played on in the past claimed it does but that doesnt seem right to me?
thanks so muh for anyone who has anything to say. Happy punting!

Years ago. MG sites had a special feature for some of their slots that set them apart from other sites. Sadly, MG no longer has this special feature in place.
As far as how to log your play - I suggest you treat each slot/demon/day as a session that gets one line in your Excal log. So, if you start at $1 a spin and then move to $1.50, put each on a separate line.
Of course, I really don't understand what you're trying to accomplish with this log, but I suspect breaking your play down to the lowest level possible will make reviewing your data much easier.
Just because "your percentage" for a slot is low (40%) ,it does not mean that you will win some of it back eventually.

Renee... Would you ask the question the other way? If you had won, would you assume you MUST lose to get back to the predetermined expected house edge? IF you believe the online casino to be fair, then you should assume the next spin would be independent from all previous spins, just like the next roll of the dice is independent from previous rolls, the next roulette spin is.... etc... Does the casino give you the 'house edge' on the slots you are playing?
