FYI. Resorts World in Monticello is Class 3 - true Vegas style RNG slots and real table games.
Quote: sdg84Ahh I see. Were there any AP type games there?

There are AP games at all three of those casinos, class 2 and 3.
The class 2 have Scarab and Golden Egypt. The class 3 has those type games as well as must hits.
Empire and resorts world are Vulture City. Even old ladies are checking denoms. Good luck.
As Teddy mentioned, RW Catskills in Monticello is much better all the way around and a nice drive if you have the means to do so.
Quote: 7NeverWinsHaven't been there in ages, but I found their gaming space rather small compared to Empire City. Every body huddled around the "good machines" and it seemed like a lot of fuss for nothing to me!

Resorts world aqueduct is easily the bigger casino.
Three floors of gambling. Empire is currently only one.
And Resorts aqueduct has a hotel attached now

I said Gaming Space, meaning space between machines and people crowding around you huddling over and watching your credit balance like hawks. Not for me!

Ah, I see.
That's the same way at Empire casino imo.
They are basically NYC casinos even if empire is just past the outskirts. A lot of patrons. Much more than upstate.
Quote: sdg84I was wondering anyone has been to Resorts world NYC. Are there a good amount of new slot games there?
I visit the place often, although I don't play slots. They have 6,500 slot machines and they routinely close off large sections of the floors to swap out multiple rows of older machines for new ones. Payout ratio at RW is 94%. For comparison PARX has a 90% payout. Foxwoods 91.85%. Mohegan Sun 91.71%.

Do they separate the payout of class 2 vs class 3 machines?

There are no class 3 machines at resorts world aqueduct.
Minimum for the state is 90% (I had seen 92% years ago but I believe they changed it).
Of course they may make them higher if they wish. From my own experience at resorts world aqueduct often make some higher including within the same bank of slots. There would often be that one slot among a row of four that seemed to literally vomit money while the others did nothing but swallow. Yes, it's anecdotal but I played pretty much every day there for 2 years, doing $8,000 worth of freeplay a day near the end.

Holy cow!! I had no idea they had that many. I thought only Foxwoods and Winstar were that big.

No must hits.
