For Christmas Santa brought my 5 year old a bubble gum slot machine. (Santa being someone who enjoys slots lol)
He doesn't win a gumball every spin. He has to get winning combinations.
He can play for free but it has a money slot so yes it acts as a piggy bank as well.
NOTE: At first he didn't like it cause it was pink so we told him it was pink for bubble gum lol.
EDIT: Don't know why all the pics are sideways
(Someone may want reel maps, to figure out the average number of pulls to get a gumball.)
Good practice in learning how to map out reels. :)Quote: DieterIt's cute!

Amazon. $50. It came with a few pieces of gum. Like ten. So had to order a bag from Amazon hence why I am first discussing it now and not Christmas morning
The spinning is mechanical but it does light up when you win and make chiming noises. That requires AA batteries not included. It's very minor flashing and didn't translate well on the pics
:)
Quote: JohnzimboSo if the 5 year old plays one week and wins 4 gumballs... can he do it every week?
:)

Based on his mom's rules he can win 4 gumballs a week. But not every week.
Quote: MentalI will play it if there is a decent loss rebate.

Just open the back and remove money.
In fact for my son it's 110% ev
He gets the gumballs I paid for and then the money I gave him to play it.

I must politely inquire how many cards he's running...

I'm somehow envisioning half the kindergarten class coming over, winning 3 gumballs each and cutting him in for 1, because he's only allowed to win 1 a day. ;)

Some truth to that. He is always giving what I pay for to his friends then asking me to replace it.
omg.. so thats the reason for all those fruit slots in foreign countriesQuote: GialmereIt's sort of an unintentional throw back to some of the earliest slots that bypassed gambling laws by adding a gum dispenser to the machine. And since the gum was fruity, fruit symbols got their debut on the reels.
