Saw a piece of paper for a new slot being installed.
The 2 #s above caught my eye.
I'm assuming it's for the slot techs for configuration.
Top says progressive %, bottom says payout.
is 85.4% the RTP or is 88% (85.4+2.6) the RTP?
All the numbers are quite reasonable. A penny denominated slot will pay out 88-90% RTP in a B&M casino in most jurisdictions, but more in some NV locations. Online progressives very often break out the RTP that way with base a RTP and progressive RTP.Quote: 100xOdds

And from all of the PAR sheets i have acquired over the years the answer to the question i think you are asking is YES
total payout percentages factor in the progressive
whats crazy is that ive seen slots that normally only pay out about 50% and the progressives add a crap ton to the payout percentages
thx!Quote: heatmapI dont know much about this topic and i may have interpeted your question wrong but i took it as - Are these two percentages combined to make a total percentage?

River dragon is 88% return plus .9% progressive.
would have figured the progressive would make up alot more of the total rtp?
thats less than the 2.6% progressive slot in my OP. :o
that means the 2.6% slot has 3x the variance of .9% river dragons since you rely more on the bonus round to get your $ back?
I think RD pays back at least 2.0% for the two progressives combined. I think they trigger early about 1% of the time, but I ignore this. The minor triggers every $74,000 of coin in and the major hits every $374060 of coin in. The minor hits at $496 and the major at $4995 on average. I get 0.67% for the minor and 1.33% for the major.Quote: 100xOddsthx!Quote: heatmapI dont know much about this topic and i may have interpeted your question wrong but i took it as - Are these two percentages combined to make a total percentage?

The base game has a huge variance and the progressives adds little variance because they hit like clockwork. When you are not in the hit zone, the progressives contribute little to the variance.
Well the sheet i saw the techs use said .9% progressive, payout 88%.Quote: MentalI think RD pays back at least 2.0% for the two progressives combined.
