I used to travel quite a bit internationally and always looked to visit a country that had poker available when I was doing poker professionally.
Are there advantage slots abroad in Asia or Europe?
Don't need info on specific machines, just any cities that you've been to which you've seen similar machines to what we have in the US.
Are slot machines the same or made by the same big gaming companies like IGT, Aristocrat or is it totally different in other countries.
I completely ignored the slot machines before in my travels and only recently started learning AP slots.

I have heard Russia has lots of old American slot machines.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

some have slots you see in usa casinos.
some have fruit type slots or multi-game of slots you've never heard of before.
some have a combo of both.
if you see must hits, calculate the breakeven point!
dont assume the meter rise is the same as usa. (found one where breakeven was like 496 krona for $500 must hit.)
the other problem is that they'll convert usa $ to local currency but usually not vice versa.
no problem if you plan on going back to that country again.
you can probably convert foreign $ back to usa at your local bank.
but right now exchange rates back to usa suck.
i have thousands in pesos, cad, euros, iceland krona, etc and waiting for the strength of the dollar to drop so i can exchange.
i was in panama and decided not to visit the casinos because i dont want yet another currency, especially since i was just there for a short period of time
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice).
Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

I thought Panama uses US currency, although I’ve never been. (My apologies for mixing tenses!)

They do. They have local coins but all transactions are in USD.
