Since a few months/years gambling livestreams (mainly on Twitch) as well as gambling videos on YouTube gain more and more popularity. For my thesis I am looking for exactly such people who like to watch gambling livestreams.
If you watch livestreams where slots or other casino games are played, you are a very big help to me!
Would also love to hear your opinion on gambling livestreams below this post!
The survey takes about 10-12 min and can be answered in English or German.
I am very grateful to share my study here! For the people who are interested there is definitely a summary of the results.
Thanks a lot and all the best!
Paul

I don't see this ban as a big deal, because it didn't feel like a big gambling streaming place anyway. Seems to be way more content on Youtube.
It's probably a big deal to the streamers making a living doing it.Quote: TigerWuMaybe I just never knew where to look, but I felt like there was hardly any gambling on Twitch to begin with. I followed a few slot channels that stopped streaming a long time ago, and I could never find anyone streaming Roulette or Baccarat. Most slot streamers were kind of boring, there were maybe one or two BJ streamers of any interest, and Poker is on TV constantly nowadays so there's no real reason to watch that on Twitch.

Yes, I just meant for Twitch, the company, it isn't much of a loss. Gambling isn't their bread and butter by any stretch of the imagination.
It's an overreaction on their part due to this situation. It's just an attempt to show they are doing something. As I said, I don't even think this guy was streaming online gambling content. Perhaps he was inspired and started his gambling addiction due to other streamers who were. I thought there were already gambling policy restrictions anyways.Quote: TigerWuQuote: AxelWolfIt's probably a big deal to the streamers making a living doing it.

As if that's going to solve the problem. Not all Offshore are rip-off joints. They should never allow places with bad reputations a platform to advertise.Quote: ChumpChangeNew twitch rules start October 18th. Stay tuned. Legal US gambling may be allowed but offshore rip-off sites may be banned. Poker, sports bets, and fantasy sports may still be allowed.
