Definitely vulturable. If I saw that many scarabs on a 1st spin, I'd sit down too.

Trust me that isn't the frequency of the Scarab bonuses. Sometimes a thousand spins can go by without a bonus round (not an exaggeration)
Finally I didn't see any vulturing in the true sense. The first spin had like 3 scarabs. That's not a winning vulture

Palm Spring Spinners Seem to be some kind of group of people who play slot machines. Group spins are big these days and alot of the people who make the videos seem to be very flamboyant.
Exactly why i asked if it was fake. If i were to fake it I'd wait til something like this happened, take out the money, and put the money back in after recording. I can see it is edited, but since its so new, I figured I would put it out there if something like this were possible.

It's potential of on the last spin is nominal (3 scarabs on the first or second reel in that position. Might be worth a spin
Finding it on the first spin of the cycle you probably would have a better chance of winning in a game of three card montte

I wish because I'd laugh at them. This was a result of searching the words "vulture slots" on google. I wouldnt have asked if it were fake. Although if I were nefarious or had ulterior motives I would say exactly this to get you to stop askin questions about how much I get paid because thats a private thing the boss man said

To me when I first started watching it I thought there was a very good chance it was fake, because who would start a bonus game and stop. There is obviously 9 more free games in this video and if they hit this for real it would be even jucier to lie and say they found it like that.
Whoever these spinner guys are they definitely have a reason to lie if their videos are monetized in any way and there are also back door deals always happening.
Why would IGT work with these guys to promote this game? I don't think they would because they dont need to.
So to me it's fake but you may have let the cat out of the bag simply by your response ;-)
And I believe when any casino takes on the risk of these machines being on their floor they know how much someone can vulture it to begin with and use it as an incentive to bring those types of players

Yes. There is at least another game like that. I like to prolong the bonus by not selecting right away, but all the other players I've seen pick the symbols as fast as they can.

Depends on whom you ask what vulturing is. I distinctly remember Phoebe on an episode of friends calling someone a vulture who was just waiting to play directly after someone with no EV, but both Phoebe and the vulture did believe somehow there was value in doing so.

The first sequence could be an example of a "-EV vulture" as there were scarabs left behind, but I doubt it was correct to play off. The rest of the video was editing to make the video look more successful.

The ideal vulture is to play when many scarabs are left behind.
That's just an ideal because after a few moments of game play even a total novice ploppie gets the concept and will play through the cycle if there are valuable scarabs on the board.
The true vulture becomes then not to search for left behind scarabs (that's a bonus if you find any but rare) but rather abandoned CYCLES.
I.E. even with few scarabs, the cycle is on its 6th plus spin. Thereby you take your shot without having to pay for 9 spins to get your shot at a +ev spin.
And hopefully you get the scarabs on your end that deliver the profit.
Because any amount of numerous scarabs are gonna always be played by the ploppies, this makes it so very low AP move imo.
I am referring to waiting around patiently for people to abandon scarabs or traversing casino floors in search of abandoned scarabs. Very low level AP
