Is it just me or are the bonuses more likely to hit on min bets as opposed to max? Maybe it's just in my head, I always max bet. When I notice someone else getting a lot of bonuses they almost always are betting low.

Its just your imagination

For awhile I was only a minimum bettor. Now I am only a max bettor
