And I hope no one here on the forum was at the Silverton last night and missed out on the Free Champagne given at the grand opening of their new Lightning Lounge which contains Lightning slots whatever they actually are.
Connected to a lightning rod? Player guesses which machine will give him a jolt?
Takes your money with lightning speed?
The machine depicts an actuary running through a maze of lightning bolts hurled by naked women wielding license plates?
Quote: FleaStiffOkay, so just what does the word 'lightning' mean in relation to slot machines? Brand name? Type of game? Speed of the slot machine? As usual Fleastiff is confused.

Not being there, I can't be certain, but Silverton's list of slots includes "Lightning Link," which is a machine that lets you choose one of four games (Happy Lantern, High Stakes, Magic Pearl, Sahara Gold), either with separate jackpots or a linked jackpot. From the description, "Lightning" comes from the frequency of jackpots (more smaller ones rather than fewer, but larger, ones, I am guessing).
