They usually do a decent job of hitting supergames, and I think they hit the progressives more often than most. And I like the games they have on them, so I tend to look for them when I'm in the mood for slots.
I played enough to move the meter, very apparent only all four games played contributes to progressive, and naturally, the features.Quote: BTLWIMaybe when you did 1 screen you didn't play enough coin in to move it?
I'm more interested in how wonder 4 works. I always thought the game withheld a better return if not betting max games, but it is possible the game works another way. EV would not be public by me. I did throw out a number, but it's just arbitrary.Quote: prozemaI'm confused. Is everyone trying to figure out when this machines progressive is +ev even though there is not a must hit limit?
I saw the major jackpot get hit once. Other than that, it doesn't seem like it goes off too often. There is one at MGM National Harbor that has been at $4999.99 for over 2 months, and those machines get a lot of play. I'm assuming it's one of those jackpots that only accumulate so much and then the excess gets added to the next jackpot once the current one has been hit.
Did someone say they have seen a game specific progressive go over $500?
I wonder if the meter matters?
I wonder if the probably of the wheel changes as the jackpot grows?
Greater than $500, yes $540 to $580 and burned. I no longer feel so good playing them at most casinos. Haven't hit one in months, but local downgraded them imo, i don't play.Quote: prozemaI've now pulled two game specific progressives down starting at a little over $400. I have been playing 4 games at minimum bet per game to drive the meter. Not sure if I've just been lucky or not.

I've seen one at almost $700. Put way too much in trying to win it and didn't. :-(
One thing for sure, I've never had two bonuses on one spin and ten minutes after a sobriety check post, I'm playing one.
But, there are just too many machines I've been winning on for way too long for it to be luck.
I'm curious on the $500+ level progressives, what were the other games at? Most in the $200s?
Quote: onenickelmiracleNoticed something very interesting on one of these machines at a casino, the grand jackpot wasn't capped at $4999.99, was $57XX.XX. I always assumed capped progressives were universal, no casino input whatsoever. Very interesting to see an exception to capped jackpots.
I've seen both... They seem to function exactly the same.
