Seriously, you're probably not as far from the truth as you think. If you can entertain, be outrageous, or something that will keep people's attention, you could probably just play solitaire games. (you would probably have to learn more than one though)

If you can attract a big enough audience, I think it qualifies someone as an "influencer" which is a potential for advertisers to either run ads on the channel or even send products to be pimped for them.

Completely agree, it's more like pretty girls aren't usually intelligent enough to last on WoV. Seriously this forum is ruthless, I like it & hate it at the same time. I think we should completely exile people like her because she obviously didn't belong on the forum but I don't want to be the person to do it. That being said, we shouldn't be hostile to people that clearly do belong on this forum ;)

You've hit the nail on the head. Oddly, many female-run slot channels have chosen not to go the influencer route. So the landscape looks like females>men, but influencers>others. There's also a weird merchandise angle & some of the men have what are arguably more marketable catch-phrases (like NG Slots and his "show me the power of your bonus!").
Brian Christopher (BC Slots) is pretty comfortably the highest-earning slot channel. He shills for online casinos, for the casinos he's filming in, for his editing software company... He's one of a small few who actually do have net income from the endeavor.
She seems willing to answer questions about how to get/use a host, how to optimize travel perks and miles, etc. on her social media channels - those are all things that come up here a few times a year when someone questions how much they should be getting or how much play they would need to show to be comped.
It's funny how different channels approach trips and filming. NG, Slotlady, MG all take big trips, play for hours, and edit to make it look like there are different "episodes" (i.e. NG's monthly series of daily videos are filmed on the same weekend). Those folks travel to play, so one big trip with a high ADT is value maximizing and they know it. Others like SDguy and Vegas Low Roller take separate trips and film them all, then delay release until editing can be done. VLR is a vegas local & SDGuy is a self-professed degenerate so they don't seem to care as much about daily play numbers.
I watch/listen to a lot of these videos. For me, they're good background noise. It's like "watching" golf or baseball - just do what you would have done & look up when someone yells.

Common, let's not pull cheap shots like that. We both know there is a huge difference in discussing someone's work who is working on a casino game vs discussing someone's gambling sessions. I really don't think that was meant as self-promotion. I think it was just an introduction to explain how she might fit into our community. She made 11 posts over 3 days, all made before the restriction on new members posting links, and none of Sarah's posts contained links to her channel. She just wanted to be here, and that was too much for some folks to handle.

It's more like the WoV forum is evil & it's a good thing she got shunned because she was just going to get hurt if she stayed. All I know is that if your not a genius & you can't hold your own in either math, casino knowledge, & now game design (since everyone thought they understood the concept) then your not going to last long on these threads :(
Honestly, I feel it's a good thing. She was destined to get hurt here. If we just shun her then we literally do her a favor. I've been saying this for a long time now & nothing has changed, WoV forum has a lot of not friendly people. I have been trying to understand the phenomenon here & I've concluded that people here act as if the threads are a game of who's right & wrong :( Don't get me wrong, I love games but that's not a game I want to play. All I have been having to since day 1 of being a WoV member is to prove myself, when really I just want peoples help or advice :( How many years must I go on before I have proved myself enough?
The only reason why I'm even playing your guy's game is because it's what's required for you to take my work seriously so I've flipped the table on you. Now that you have forced me to prove myself, in contrast I have proven every WoV member wrong at one time or another. Now I'm the enemy because I make you guys look like fools for not knowing what you claim you do but yet you're the ones that put me in the position to begin with. I can't tell you guys how many times someone would come up with some ridiculous excuse not to listen to me as if I know nothing only to prove it's the other way around. As far as the Slot Lady goes, God bless her, I think it's awesome she's making money doing this(I wish I was as well) and theres no reason she shouldn't be here. I hope I was not one of the people that helped "run her off"
