Sarah here, I'd like to take the opportunity here to introduce myself to all of you. I love playing slots and gambling at the casino and decided to recently create a channel covering my experiences. I usually play in the Niagara area casinos as well as Vegas, but occasionally I play at other casinos all across Canada and the USA.
Brand new to this forum and would be happy to chat about gaming and slots with all of you lovely people on here. I've only had my channel going for a few weeks, but I am currently uploading content daily and aim to continue that pace for the foreseeable future. My favorite slot machines right now are Ted, Game of Thrones and Batgirl & Catwoman to name a few!
xoxo Sarah
Do you play any other games? I played craps with someone who looked very similar to you.
I actually really love card games! My favorite game is probably Pai Gow, but I also like Baccarat and Blackjack.
I don't really play craps often, played a couple times however, so it is possible! Which casino was this?
xoxo Sarah

Tropicana AC
I'm playing hard to.get too. Lol.Quote: rsactuarySo you're hoping for some donations or some advertising clicks? No thanks.
Have you even watched any of my videos? lol
Quote: rsactuarySo you're hoping for some donations or some advertising clicks? No thanks.
Typically a girl who gambles $1000s of dollars on slots isn't the one in need of donations. :p
That's another YouTube channel called the big jackpot, btw for everyone else's knowledge. The guy bets $300 a spin and asks people to donate to his Patreon(last checked, $2,000 a month). He was the guy spamming everyone with penis pills, said to have made $20,000 a day before it was illegal. Obviously, I don't like him and think he is shady.Quote: IbeatyouracesWe know you guys are addicted to the SPAM kings slot channel.

And how have these always turned out?????
Of course, for a long time hearing something like that was almost guaranteed late nights when folks who'd made a lot of use of the beverage service refreshed themselves in a certain semi-famous Las Vegas casino restroom:Quote: BozI enjoy the guy who is always screaming...

Uhm I'm assuming $5k?
Reason for the quiz was because in one of her videos there were some added wilds or something similar being added in spots that we're clearly not pay lines but she still super excited and screaming at what turns out to be a non win. As well as other moments of excitement on clearly low paying or non winning spins.
I would assume that a person creating a slot channel would understand basic paylines and where they are but maybe that's a naive assumption.
You're partially right, quite a bit of my income this year has come from slot jackpots. That machine alone ended up being worth +$8600 (+$4300 each for me and my buddy) but it's expected value was really only +$800.
But I'm thinking my initial suspicion was correct. Bored housewife with too much money that wanted a YouTube channel.

That is so rude portraying her like that. She might be throwing her money away on the worst games in the house, and remorseful she isn't hitting, but your portrayal is still insulting.Quote: BTLWII wasn't hoping for anything. We tread lightly, or not so lightly everyday on insulting each other. No need to defend her, she seems like she can handle herself, or learn to.
Quote: SlotladyWow! Look at this genius over here!!! Honestly I didn't see the ring, I guess you were hoping the flash would obscure it so you could show just how intelligent you are? You silly troll. Also I'm not playing to make $$$, but for entertainment! I just enjoy the games! Mb you depend on the hope of a slot jackpot for your income, I'm not sure?
Slotlady,
We consider the bolded part of your quote above to be a personal insult. Your first sarcastic sentence is also very close to one. WARNING. Argue as vigorously as you like about what was said, but do not insult fellow members. Thanks.
You probably should know that many of the regulars are slot designers, mathematicians, and/or professional players. We do quiz each other. And discuss gaming at a deeper level of detail than you might find elsewhere.
All,
She's not wrong about the quiz being a bit of a troll. So she gets a warning, not a suspension. Manners, guys.
We need to be a good example when interacting with new members. Especially when they are certified real people, not vpn people messing around. Both are foul in this interaction but he knows better with forum experience.Quote: BozWe tread lightly, or not so lightly everyday on insulting each other. Rude and you know it. WARNING. Offsetting penalty, as she called you a silly troll first.
There are dozens, if not more, youtube slot channels, and thousands of individual videos. Her production quality is better than average, and she's showing interesting machines with no ads. So what's the harm in her being a non-expert? She builds the jackpots you snap off. I'd think you'd encourage her all the more.

I was never fooled(youtube = one big add) however I thought she should get a skeptical(very skeptical) benefit of the doubt. But then I saw her later posts about showing us how to make millions. If that's not sarcasm, I would tend to think this person is an unwanted parisite looking for a few idiots.Quote: beachbumbabsQuote: BTLWII wasn't hoping for anything. I don't even mind people advertising themselves of their products, I just hate when people are trying to act all innocent and they are sneaky about it. If someone came on here with some honesty asking for support, I would be more than happy to click and support them(as long as it was not some BS betting system).
At least some people admitted they liked free chippies.

I may be missing something, but:
- there are no ads in her videos
- there are no ads on her youtube page
- she isn't claiming to sell anything
- she told the old joke "how do you make a small fortune gambling? Start with a large fortune". Mocking herself, not selling something.
90% or more of people who gamble do it for entertainment or as a hobby. The rest are either addicts or pros of some kind (AP's, cheats, system sellers, poker pros, academics, etc). As far as I can tell, she's one of the 90% and is sharing the fun.
Her biggest mistake so far is not knowing her audience here, at least among the regulars; this crowd is routinely snide and dismissive of casual players. Been her, learned the hard way, earned a grudging respect from some here that took years.
It's not an attractive aspect of this forum, especially since the point is to help and educate people looking to improve their odds and gamble smarter. People are directed here from WoO to ask questions and learn from people willing to share their tips and expertise from a mathematically based approach to gaming. That focus gets lost in threads like this.
Some of the "group pulls" videos are interesting, mostly just hearing the people's reactions...."okay we're here at XYZ playing mega high limit slots, okay we got 40 lines, 25c denom, 1 credit per line! That's a whole $10/spin!!!" Then they hit some bonus round for $150 and go ape-sh** crazy.
Is your name on YouTube slotlady? If not, what is it?

Have any of you Vegas residents come across these people while they are doing this? The Cosmopolitan seems to be a popular spot for them.

No, I haven't...at least I haven't noticed.
For one, the people who do it on slots (like that one guy that always plays at Silverton it appears), for the most part, I'm not playing slots. Yes, I know, that was the most AxelWolf'd sentence I've probably ever written.
Also, the ones at Cosmopolitan likely go out on Friday and Saturday nights. Unless I absolutely have to be out on the strip on a weekend night, I'm not going to be there.
Also, oftentimes it seems like the people that do the group pulls at least have a big ol' crowd around them. That happens rather frequently, I think, although I'm not sure how often people in those groups are recording the slot machines and/or uploading them to youtube or are doing those group pulls things.

A couple years ago Mrs and I were at a show and she met someone whose channel she followed on Youtube.

We do not have many fancy slots where I live so it is fun to watch someone try them out. Also a lot cheaper :))
