Your best bet is pay attention to the programming in the machine. I know this is hard to do with all of the different slot machines in the casino but there are slight tells to a machine when they may be getting ready to pay off more. The reels tend to speed up slightly and increase pay intervals usually happen for about ten seconds so you should increase your pressing of the button at these times. Stop the reels to get as many presses at this time before this time (ten to fifteen second period passes) then go back in to regular slow presses and wait for the pay/hit screen to completely finish so you don't blow through you bankroll so quickly. The slot will cycle back around if you site there long enough. I have timed most of them and its usually three minutes low to normal payouts with 10 to 15 second high payouts. I have not yet been able to time free games but it tends to also come in cycles but the length of time I could not tell you!

Quote: IncogsinoI am not sure is anyone else has experienced this. Have you seen the individuals who beat up the slots while they are playing! I have seen other individuals smear the screen with their hands like they are washing a car window. At least they are not causing damage. I keep thinking to myself the Slot has not done anything to you but take your money! No different than the government lmao! Anyways. I am sure that most people who are subscribed to this site know that the random number generator is the CPU chip that determines the slot pay outs to the individuals who presses the button. Yet I still see people bashing the screen like they are a bookie collecting money from a defector! Leave those damn machines alone and don't break them because I might want to play the slot after you have lost all of your money in them.

Hi, Incog. I've left your discussion up as it's not something we've talked about much, but we don't allow unsolicited advertising for links, youtube, systems, or anything else without permission from the site owners, so I deleted the last sentence. Thanks!

You have never seen people bash the screen when the slow rolling 5th reel for a bonus was coming? Like hitting will stop it for a bonus. I have seen this hundreds of times.
Quote: IbeatyouracesThis is obvious SPAM.
I'm not sure if you're criticizing me or the OP (or both), but I have seen many of the same silly and superstitious moves by players he mentions in the first paragraph.
The bonus timing he talks about in the second paragraph is IMO wishful thinking, but he's not the only person I've met who believes they see something in how the machine behaves. I HAVE seen machine glitches online when they're preparing to bonus; specifically, a drop machine like DaVinci Diamonds does a flicker/hesitate for a split second before it starts a sequence that results in a bonus. (For non-slot players, I'm calling it a drop machine because the animation, instead of spinning, the symbols "drop" from the top, and winning symbols are removed, allowing for further drops from the top and compressing symbols into wins, allowing multiple wins per spin.) So, whether the bonus symbols arrive on the initial screen or through drops, you know you're going to bonus if the screen flickers/freezes for a moment immediately after you push the spin button.
So, anyway, I think it's worth the conversation pro or con, so I left it up rather than banning him. We'll see where he takes it from there.

I'm not criticising anyone. I believe he/she had the same post in a blog. Am I correct?
Oh, and just because something may be SPAM, doesn't mean it's not worthwhile.

Hah, if only I could capitalize on the last bonus reel not hitting, because that's the one I see with rhythmic-like frequency.

Yeah, I missed that they were blogging first. Thanks. They seem to have moved their blog post to start this thread. So we'll see how it goes.
As I stated there, this ability doesn't overcome the house edge but it does warn me when I should not be attempting to play a machine. And it isn't perfect.
I don't believe in DI however, with so many naysayers towards things I do see often, it makes me wonder.
Since I am not planning on meeting up with the naysayers to sit for hours and show my analysis live (to which they would reply we need to sit there for several months for it to be valid due to the law of large numbers, yada yada) there is nothing this argument will achieve except angst.
Reminds me of a book I read back in college about just that. now the book/situation it describes may be 10-20 years old now.. but the theory is still relatively the same
https://www.ethicalhacker.net/features/book-reviews/mitnick-the-art-of-intrusion-ch-1-hacking-the-casinos-for-a-million-bucks
start at the "developing the hack" chapter. Pretty easy read of the next two chapters, and sounds more like a 90s scenario, but still the theory is the same, there's just a lot more hoops to jump through, and it kind of sits in the gray area where legality could come into question

This past weekend, my neighbor gave a friendly knock to the screen in hopes of STP multipliers would come to visit. It really didn't help her.

I see this all day long.
Me? On the rare occasions I play slots, I sometimes will rub the spin button before pressing it. Not that I think that does anything. Then again, I also give the felt a brief rub before picking up the dice at a craps table.
Quote: darkozA long argument about my ability to predict when a bonus is getting closer occurred here in one of my Tales of the Hustling Wars threads. I'm glad someone else sees there is predictability at the slots.

I've gotten to that point on a specific company's machine, regarding must hit progressives, that I can narrow down to a very small window (say 12-20 cents) on when it'll either go into its next bonus that pays well, pays well outside of the bonus, or drops one of its progressives. Its actually something my "team" has been working on for about 8-9 months now, and it seems as if part of the machine isn't truly "random" or designed to be random based on the way that it "moves" the progressive. Its something we've all agreed to not wager towards, but rather, simply to observe and record it so that we might later be able to scrutinize the data for an advantage. The nice part, is that when we get on these machines because the progressive is so high, we're usually given quite a bit of data to sample from to scrutinize later and dissect our "theory". For the last, I don't know, 11-12 weeks or so, we've been about as accurate as one can get on these numbers with the information given to us, but even though the data supports the theory, and so far hasn't given us a shred of evidence that goes against the theory, I'm still not convinced because I'm a rather cautious and practical man in regards to hustling these things. From what I can gather, no other group of individuals is remotely close to cracking this information like we have, nor do I imagine they will even try, since it ends up being merely a piece to the puzzle, rather than the solver, but in a world of incomplete information and trying to take advantage from it, every little bit helps in my book.
In most cases this is true however there have been slots you could time and gain an advantage.Quote: CrystalMathTiming a slot machine is just as effective as sitting your lucky stuffed animal above the screen.
No need to meet up with anyone, but i sure would like to know some details(PM me if you don't want to say publicly) and since you don't think its an advantage it wouldn't cost you anything. I said this before, if you(maybe not you, but I) can somewhat predict when a bonus round is coming ITS GOING TO BE AN ADVANTAGE, at least for me. Although i think its very very unlikely, I wont say its impossible, but If its indeed true I will find away to take advantage of it one way or another and share it with you.Quote: darkozA long argument about my ability to predict when a bonus is getting closer occurred here in one of my Tales of the Hustling Wars threads.
