Puzzling offers from Boyd Downtown

My wife and I stayed at the Fremont in October. Paid full rack rate-$34 a night, no resort fee.
We dumped a bunch of money chasing a Blazing Sevens machine which we eventually hit for over $1400. Wound up ahead about $500 for the 3 days there then moved on to the Strip and Reno.
Played on the same players card.
Ate at the Redwood Grill in the Cal but didn't play a dime there.
Didn't step foot in Main Street.

Result-
After getting one 2 night offer for all 3 places what we are getting offers for now is 3 nights at MSS plus a dining coupon and nothing at all for Fremont and the Cal either online or by postcards.

It seems that they want to book comped players at this specific location for some reason. You could call a host and ask that the offer extend to another property when you make your reservation. I would think they could easily accommodate this request.

I love MSS, for what it's worth.

I think they treat MSS as an overflow hotel for the Cal and the Fremont.

Yeah I don't have any problem at all staying at MSS. Just puzzled is all.

I could do that of course but it doesn't really concern me as we will be more than happy to stay at MSS. Just find it curious. I don't think if we stayed and played at Rio CET would be sending us offers for Paris and Harrah's but nothing for Rio?

I've split my Downtown play time fairly equally between MSS and its sister property, California; I always use my card.

MSS regularly sends me generous offers; Cal has never sent me any.

Than again, I'm not Hawaiian.

I too split my time between MSS the California and Fremont but all my offers always come from the California. I've always wondered about this but never stay at any of them so I've never inquired about it.

Now that's an oddity.

Not quite a conundrum; merely an oddity.

Perhaps as sister properties they only offer from one or the other, so as not to compete against themselves.
