It's on many of their machines and some casinos wind up disabling them after a while.

WMS has had this feature on many of their games for a couple years now. I usually take a look at this for patterns before I play any of this type of machine. Sometimes I'll play if the last 5 bonuses were minimal, and have had some luck with max betting in those situations. Usually I run away if any of the last 5 bonus amounts were astronomically high.
There is also a trick to seeing the game stats before you play. If the "Game Stats" button does not allow you to press it, exit out, visit the paytable, exit paytable, and immediately go back into the game stats. Works every time for me.

Yeah, you can look at game stats at any time within the menus. I sometimes randomly look at them when the game stats symbol floats around the screen.
