Quote: onenickelmiracleCatching them red handed and letting them off easy sounds like the integrity of gaming is right where we thought it was. The casino should be on 10 year probation with every move watched or something more serious.
$1MM is "getting of easy"? I hope I'm never defendant in your court. :)
Seriously though, the guy using the 2341 key wasnt cheating anyone and didnt violate any law though perhaps there's a specific reg that addressed his action.
Gaming seems to have the power to levy fines for just about anything it wants too. Wish they'd levy a fine against the casino that backed me off a big progressive VP play. Considering my that my action had contributed a substantial amount to the meter and that their stated purpose was to better ensure that only a loyal ploppie could win I think it was a form cheating.

I have read mumblings that casinos tend to be more reluctant to back players off from large progressives because the player might actually have a case against them, for this reason. I've never read anything that seemed like any more than rumor though. Is there any truth to this?
It's a lot for us but maybe not enough to punish or make a casino afraid of not violating regulations or misleading the regulators. The problem is the state being in a position of interest receiving money and being responsible for regulating them.Quote: smokalott$1MM is "getting of easy"?
