Valid question, but let's avoid the political aspect. Rule 19Quote: AlanMendelsonIt is possible and maybe likely we'll soon have mandatory vaccination requirements throughout the country. A challenge to vaccination requirements this past week was thrown out by a Trump appointee to the Supreme Court.
As far as I'm concerned anyone should be able to go. I've been vaccinated and I don't care whether or not anyone else has been vaccinated. It's my decision and their decision to enter a building. If you don't feel comfortable with that then don't participate.
That's all. Thank you.
Just with where were at at the moment, Having that many people at the same table indoors for hours at a time then switching tables the next day/mid day and doing the same thing for hours with another group, with people from all around the country and other countries who travel a lot anyway, is just being accepting of and being ok with being a superspreader event. Which is just stating the point everyone involved has to be comfortable with it in a different context. It is literally throwing just about every recommendation possible away most to the maximum possible extent other than vaxxing and masking.
Thats all well and good, until you consider the employees.Quote: Yoyomama<snip> I don't care whether or not anyone else has been vaccinated. It's my decision and their decision to enter a building. If you don't feel comfortable with that then don't participate.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to spell this out. But you did read where I said if you feel uncomfortable than don't participate. I'm pretty sure that employers and employees are well aware of this.
This involves everyone. Young people, old people employees visitors.
Or we could all just stay home and hide in our basements with our masks on for the next 20 years.

I'm sorry but it wasn't a political statement. It shows a sea change in opinion.

My wife is immunocompromised because of oral chemotherapy drugs she takes everyday, and I just could not justify going to a large poker tournament event at this time.
