Few here are probably interested in this game. I'm staying at Sam's Town in January, however, and it's listed as one of the table games. It looks fun, and the Wizard puts the element of risk at 3.23% which is slightly lower than Three Card Poker, so I might throw 100 bucks at it to see what happens.
The reason I'm posting is that the Jackpot Bonus bet wasn't available when the Wizard wrote the Woo article. I came across a youtube video from Galaxy that explains it and shows the pay table if anyone with access to the site cares to update the page. The bet costs $1 a'la Caribbean Poker's progressive.
4 Wilds + Ace ...................... 100%
4 Wilds ................................. $1000
3 Wilds ...................................... $25
2 Wilds ........................................ $5
1 Wild .......................................... $1
I don't know the house edge. I come here to ask you guys that. I have been here long enough to see that there are only 4 hands that could win the progressive and therefore I assume the jackpot would need to be north of $360,000 to be in (long shot) advantage land. Note the video shows a jackpot of $135,034. Also, I have no idea what the smaller, MEGA jackpot is.

I watched a full table play this game when I visited Biloxi's Treasure Bay Casino. A helpful player at 1st base showed me his cards as he played and explained the game to me. Folks seemed pretty addicted to it. The pit boss saw me standing and came over to apologize because there was no seat for me. She said the table stayed pretty busy most of the time.
Hope you report on your experience at Sams Town.

When I am in Vegas I usually got to Sams Town once or twice to play this (and $5 pai gow poker). When I was last there in the spring they didn't have this bet. It seems like the progressive jackpot would be the only reason to play it. If you have four deuces than you are already winning $4000 with a minimum $5 bet (ante, draw, and 2X raise, so $20 total bet).
