I don't know about stack depth and all that, but I think QJ coulda folded and certainly at least thought about it.

What are you putting those other guys on, especially the guy who had 66? P1 Bet. P2 call. P3 all in. P1 All in. And it's back to you, as P2. In a raised, 5 way pot.

It's pretty hard to come up with 2 hands you are beating. It would have to be like, QT and a slowplayed KK or AA that went insane on the flop.

I feel bad for the pocket sixes. Two successive three out slaps in the face on that turn and river. ROUGH!

Stack sizes were pretty small, so shoving seems like a logical play. What kind of tournament was it? Or was it a cash game?

Would stronger pre-flop aggression from the AK have kept the QJ and QT from even seeing the flop?

Its easy to comment on what one would have , should have, and could have done in the Monday Morning QB scenario. I would have never even played my pocket 6s in the first place to put myself in that terrible situation, then again I now know the outcome so of course I made the right decision. ha All joking aside, that really was a f^$% up hand!

Had they not been all in, the 6's full is an easy fold on either the turn or river depending on the action.

I've dealt hands like that. Shit happens.

But the big question is this:

How does that hand prove or disprove anything about online poker?

I think he was just saying people think online is rigged because of weird stuff happening. A hand like this is equally as weird and wasn't online. When hands like this happen online people will run to 2+2 and post that it is rigged.

This thread was supposed to be in jest. Ever watch these tables online and follow along with the chat? My initial post, in no way, am I suggesting that online poker is rigged or not. Just making fun of the continuous comments by the people in the chat boxes.

I'll say this, I'm highly skeptical of guys that claim they made millions starting with 1¢-2¢ and a single $20-$30 deposit.

It depends on how strong, though it would have been really tough to get out with Q-J with those stack sizes.

As far as hand range goes, I saw the question as to what the QJ would have his opponents on...that's a tough one! Do you figure that maybe the first player to lead out was trying to be cute? I guess you would doubt that with so many people still in the hand. But, with five to the flop, there's value in calling the pre-flop raise (pot odds) so any two will do.

Here's the thing for QJ: With so many people seeing the flop, maybe he put one of them on an inside middle pair (doesn't necessarily have to be Aces or Kings, just better than sixes) and figured maybe one of them has some kind of suited Queen that he maybe has out-kicked. He probably figures K-Q or A-Q (suited or not) would have tried to steal the pot preflop given the preflop action. At least would've tried to get a few players out preflop who already had money in.

Q-10 is probably hoping for the same thing that Q-J was, although 6-6 led, he called, someone else went all-in and that got followed with another all-in. I think that might get me to lay down Q-10, but I can't guarantee it. The thing about 6-6 is that 6-6 shoved when 6-6 could've just called the 13K bet from Q-J, and that's arguably what 6-6 should've done. 66 would've been waiting for a call from Q-10, or even better, for Q-10 to shove on his own. 6-6 Shouldn't be trying to go all-in and scare the final player to decide out of the hand, 6-6 should want that guy in the hand as long as 6-6 thinks neither player has wired QQ...which he clearly doesn't.

So, I might have gotten away from it as Q-10, but I probably wouldn't have. That's a really tough fold. I have to believe at least one of the other players has a Queen, though, and I'm probably outkicked. The second player also shoved rather than just calling the 13k, that draws a fold from me...maybe. If the second player had just called the first all-in, I'd have likely called the 13k bet with Q-10, but might have shoved anyway.

I don't see how QJ lays it down playing from that position. I don't see how QJ does anything but go all-in with that stack.

I just watched it again, and believe you're mistaken. I have:

66-Bet
Q10-Call
QJ-All In
66-All In
Q10-All In (All In to Call)

I haven't re-watched it, but if you're correct, I'm folding Q,10 at this point.

On a side note, when I won the bad beat jackpot some years ago playing $5-$10 limit, I had A,10 on an A64 flop. The flop just brought a bet and calls from me and another player. Turn was an A and that's where the other two started a raising war. I showed my neighbor my cards discreetly. When the river brought the last A, I put them both on 6,6 & 4,4 respectively so I figured I got lucky. Turns out I out flopped both as one had 8,8 and the other had J,J. Had this been no limit, I might've folded on the turn with all of the raising. They built me a nice pot plus 20% of the BBJ. :-D

Yeah, with a little more time thinking about it, I definitely think I would have folded Q-10 because 6-6 shoved rather than just calling the 13k all-in from Q-J AND 6-6 has my stack covered. It might have even been an instant fold. You have to be playing one of the other players for the fourth Queen, so now you're just hoping your ten out-kicks them, or maybe hoping for a chop. Another six, running high cards. You have to believe one player or the other has 6-6 or the other queen. I wouldn't even be normally thinking about 6-6, but all-in, all-in, and I start thinking about everything that can beat me.

6-6 opened the action. Q-J basically has to go in after Q-10's call, it's either that or fold and I don't see how Q-J folds with Q-10 just calling. I guess you could call, but he's probably figuring inside pair for one player (or maybe just a six and a high card) and the other Queen for the opposite player and he's hoping he has the other Queen outkicked or maybe get a chop.

Blinds were 400/800. AK raised to 2000, 66 called from HJ, QTs called from button, QJs called 1600 from SB, A2 called 1200 from BB. Pot is 11,000 (must have been an ante.)

Flop is Q6Q. Checks around to 66 in HJ, bets 6,500. QT calls (pot is 24,000.) QJ goes all-in for 13,000. 66 shoves for 50,500 total. QT commits his remaining 27,300.

If the action had not caused being all-in on the flop, it's a good thing he didn't stick around until the river and then throw his chips away when he made the straight.

Aces full of jacks beaten by quad aces with a ten. Nice! How much was the jackpot?
