On an online sim kept record in my last 500 hands I won aprox 50%, lost and fold aprox 30-20% rest of the time. On those records it showed I only won trips bet 16% of the time, and never hit anything better than a full house (maybe 1 quads).
I know it's an extremely low sample but do you think it's worth to play it? If so how much should I bet , the same or half my ante bet?
You know the house edge, so you know how expensive it is to play. Decide if it's worth it to you.

OK sorry for asking stupid questions and wasting your time won't happen again.
Quote: Martin1024Trips pay table 1 has aprox 1% house edge , it worth play it or am I still better ignoring it?
I'm unfamiliar with the pay table. BUt I'll tell you the same thing I do when playing PGP: I'd hate to get a really good hand and win nothing more than my bet. 1% is low enough for a bonus bet. I'd bet it at $1 if that's allowed.

Don't mind Axiom, he didn't mean to offend. And he does have a point in the second part.

Bet what you're comfortable with. That said, if you found a Trips pay table with a 1% HE, I'm interested. At least around here, Trips pay tables suck - the one here in Columbus has a 6% HE, and the one at Belterra in Indiana is about 3.5%.

3-5-6-7-20-40-50. EW! Throw it back!

That's the 3-4-7-8-30-40-50 that's prevalent here in WA.

Noted for future play. Thanks!

I know where I'll be playing next week! Thanks!
Quote: DeucekiesOn the subject of bonuses with low HE, I've heard claims of some casinos that allow players to play JUST the Trips on UTH, not blind-ante-play. This is just hearsay, and I can't name any casinos in particular. Has anyone else heard of this, and is it somewhat prevalent?
I think it's common. MGM Grand definitely allows it. I think that they require you to play the table minimum on the trips bet if you do this, while if you play the main game, you can play trips for as little as $5 regardless of the table min.

Is this still the case? I know they had it in January when I was last there, but I was reading a subsequent trip report on another site that included a picture taken at the PH UTH game and it showed the more prevalent 3.5% HE pay table.

Yeah, I was under the impression they conformed to the 8/7/4 paytable as well, so I wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

Last I was at the Palms, they allowed this. You had to bet at least table minimum (double minimum?) to do so though.

So it's not just a rumor. Cool. Do you remember the payscale they use?

Not a UTH player, so not at all, unfortunately. Also, it's been maybe four months since I've been to the Palms, so things may have changed in the meantime. It was a little sign attached to the min/max readout.
