Best strategy for WPTAPL bar freerolls

These are free bar poker tournaments with no buyin but they award cash prizes ranging from $25 to $100, winner take all. 2nd place down to 14th or so award league points only.
Stacks start at 10000 with blinds at 100/200. You can get like a bonus 1000 for showing up early, depending on venue you can get 5000-10000 bonus chips for ordering food, there are bonus chips for wearing WPT merch, and you can win "promo" chips at previous tourneys that you can use to get extra chips in later games.
Blinds go up every 20 minutes or so, it goes
100/200
200/400
300/600
BREAK and color up to 500s
500/1000
1000/2000
2000/4000
color up to 5000s, usually final table by now
5000/10000
10000/20000
havent seen above that level its usually over by that point
Anyway, what type of strategy is best for beating this kind of tourney?

How many players? How many players per table?

Learning jam or fold strategy will be helpful in these. After the first 40 minutes, it will be difficult to be deep stacked.
