I went over to Ellis Island this morning to play a $ 10 free play
that I registered for yesterday, and went early enough to do
their free bingo.

The total prize pool wasn't too impressive, $ 110 for 6 games.
But it was free to play.

I'm guessing that there were about 40 people playing. Hard
to say because you could sit anywhere you wanted at a penny
or nickel machine.

My confession:

- It was kind of a fun diversion.

I ended up only needing 1 number in the last game to win
$ 50. Someone else was luckier today.

I played Dueces Wild for a bit, and cashed out up $ 20.
Not gonna quit my day job just yet.

then I went for a walk, ending up at Tropican to see what it
looked like now and to see if I was elibible for the $ 200
loss rebate.

It turns out that I am. So I'll head back there sometime
this week with Mrs. Q and try to set it up so we can
both play the promo.

The place actually looks classy and upscale now. What
a difference.

I've actually been thinking about trying out some bingo at the Gold Coast next time I'm in Vegas. I've never played before, but on the surface bingo seems like it would be a fairly relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. It appears you also get comped drinks when playing, so that is nice.

If I do end up playing, I'll try to post my experience here after I get back.
You serious, Clark?

Just wondering: does the casino have a greater HA in bingo or in keno?

The casino often has little to no HA on Bingo. It's primarily used as a loss leader to draw people into the casino. Keno has a much higher hold. Of course, this is dependent on promotions that are going on... but in general, Bingo will have a much lower hold
