Check out my article on the Daily Beast: The GOP Hits Vegas. I was written in a haste, so my thanks to EvenBob for helping to edit it.
As always, I welcome all comments.

Is it just my browser, or do others viewing the DB website get, "&apos" where an apostrophe is supposed to go too?

Of course, editing help can often be of benefit, but it's not foolproof.

THEIR copy editor did that, as I'm sure the Wiz
will attest to.

I have to take the blame on that one. After Bob's revisions I made a few changes myself, including introducing that error. They didn't catch it either. Not Bob's fault.

Please don't misunderstand me -- I was not meaning to cast aspersions on Bob specifically. It seems to be almost impossible for anyone but professional editors to proofread and catch all of the little mistakes, and even those folks sometimes miss some. I just thought it was funny to find a minor typo in an article right after the author talks about getting help with the editing. I may not make as many typos as Nareed, but I make plenty of them.
Bye the way, Ayecarumba, I did not see "&apos" in the article, and I did see an apostrophe. Mac OS 10.6.8 running Firefox 7.0.1.

Nice article! But I bet The Daily Beast doesn't pay as much as Wizard of Vegas :)

I just saw tonight's exchange between Perry and Romney. They may need to hire a referee for the stage to keep them apart.

Mitt Romney and Rick Perry go mano-a-mano over immigration.

Is there a place where you can actually bet on who will win the election? Like a Las Vegas sports book? Does Bodog give actions?

Whats good is, there are 54 comments and not one of
them is critical of the article. Instead, they discuss the articles
theme and ramifications. Believe me, if it had been flawed
in any way, they would have trashed it.
