OK my last four Pai Gow Poker sessions have been beyond horrible. How is it possible to lose $2200 playing $20-$25 a hand. HOW? That is almost negative a hundred units playing Pai Gow Poker! Is that even possible. I am not a conspiricy or game is fixed guy but I am starting to wonder. How do you lose a hundred units in four Pai Gow Sessions??!! I mean I have had a flush with a pair and lost. Every time I turn around the dealer has amazing hands. Will this turn around or is it destined to continue? I had a dealer see my aces and kings hand and say 95% win and I lost to a full house with aces on top.

You will encounter some absolutely horrid, obscene streaks of bad luck even playing an almost 50/50 game. Nothing you can do about it except take the gut punch.

In a close to even game, if you lose several hands in a row you should take a break. Otherwise you begin to believe the next hand has got to win, or that it is due (god forbid!) If you keep losing, things get increasingly frustrating and the game's not fun any more.

And, at some point, you'll have a series of cards that are incredibly good. 55/KJ winners, 22/JT winners, Q-high winners, T-high pushes to Broadway and no top, with some solid 2-pair runs mixed in for good measure that just can't lose.
While my tolerance is more than 'a few hands,' Nareed's point is true. If nothing else, for your own sanity, switch things up. Change seats, change tables, walk to a different casino, if that's an option. It doesn't *really* matter, in the grand scheme of things, but it'll give you time to cool off and maybe you'll be luckier in your new spot.

I agree to all of the above, that taking a beating when the numbers say you shouldn't, sucks. Everyone has their own tolerance to losing. When I'm playing BJ for instance, when the dealer has what I feel is a disproportionate number of BJ's to what I'm getting dealt, I walk. Sometimes I feel like all the dealers hands are 20's and my hands are 15's and 16's, so it really feels like a losing battle.

You are all correct, I should just take a break. My problem is I know the math and percentages and just keep saying to myself there is no way I can keep losing hand after hand in what is almost a 50-50 game. I get so frustrated but unfortuneately my personality is to keep playing thinking at some point it HAS to change. BTW I played at Hard Rock South Florida, AC Harrah's, Lake Tahoe, and Harrahs Chester. Four totally different venues with different rules, different parts of the country same result. I am still incredulous at what is going on.

I know the feeling.
Just remind yourself the math and percentages will be the same later, but your mood may be better.
