Hey all,

I’ve come across a series of Interblock single-zero electronic roulette machines (type diamond & similar) – The venues offering these games also offer very attractive daily loss rebates. It seems quite simple to bet a single number over and over straight up every day with specific stop loss / stop win amounts resulting in decent EV (alongside high variance).

To my question… The whole play falls apart if in-fact my chances at hitting are not on par with a physical roulette wheel (2.7% per spin), any reason to think my odds differ? I understand these machines may pre determine the result prior to the spin using a randomly generated number, but should I have reason to believe that number is influenced against me based on hidden RTP or similar?

Thanks in advance – I'm very green to this sort of play and appreciate any insights.

Welcome to the forum. It seems your question can be boiled down to ‘will this casino cheat me?’ You use the word ‘machine’ so we can assume it is a brick and mortar casino? If so, it is unlikely that a roulette machine which gives the casino 2.7% would be intentionally gaffed to increase that house edge.

If you are sure you’ve done the math correctly and can use the loss rebates to make the play +EV, I’d try it. I have no idea about your ‘longevity’ if you use a loss rebate offer on a daily basis.

The usual annoyance I see with interblock machines is the slow pace. If you try to offset this with large wagers, you hit the handpay cap - now probably around $55, formerly around $33. (Handpays aren't a problem, per se, but they're even slower.)

Some people get annoyed that you can't cover the entire board (cancellation betting) on one terminal. This really isn't a problem, and they should instead enjoy the gambling nanny protections.

I have no reason to believe interblock machines aren't random.
May the cards fall in your favor.

I believe Interblock still sells in Nevada. Manufacturers that sell in Nevada are required to offer fair odds machines in other gaming jurisdictions also. Therefore, it is probably fair.

Appreciate the response from all, these machines are located in Asia. I do have reason to believe that the roll is pre-determined prior to releasing the ball, mostly through word of mouth - though not necessarily for or against any particular player.

We created an adaptive bet method, and we need testers.
