What would happen if you threw craps on a roulette wheel?

To make it look more like roulette, use one 36-sided die which can accurately reflect the probabilities of throwing two standard 6-sided dice.

What, who says you can't? The roulette players could bet it just like roulette, the craps players could play it just like craps, and some additional bets could be invented that are a function of both the roulette outcome and the craps outcome. I picture a modified roulette wheel on a raised platform, among tables with craps and roulette layouts, and the shooters take turn walking up on the platform, the croupier spins the wheel and the shooter shoots.

You'll have to stick to the Field bet. Whether you can find a triple 12 table or not is another story.

Not sure why. It should play exactly like craps, from the perspective of the craps player. Just every roll would happen to be a roulette spin too.
