I was at the Golden Nugget last night and saw a side bet called Diamondz on a lot of tables. It is a multi-game side bet that can be tailored to any number of cards. It pays based on the number of diamond cards involved in the hand.
For all the rules and analysis, please see my new page on Diamondz (sic).
As always, I welcome all comments. The question for the poll is would you make the Diamondz bet if playing anyway?

Correction -- the last poll choice should be "Happy indigenous peoples day."

Shouldn’t there be a hyphen between “people” and “s”? IE: people’s
Also, if the name of the game is in fact “Diamondz”, then I don’t think the (sic) is necessary, since it’s spelled properly.
Side bet doesn’t sound that much fun to me.
Edit: The hyphen should be after* the word peoples, so it should be: peoples’. I also think Indigenous and Peoples’ should be capitalized.

I think you mean an apostrophe and not a hyphen.
NPR spells it the same way as you. Columbus Day Or Indigenous Peoples' Day?
Please note I'm writing about grammar and not making any political statement on the matter.

I think RS was making a Trump joke/reference. Trump confused the words "hyphen" and "apostrophe" in a recent Tweet.
I personally don't care what we call it. I don't think I've gotten the day off since grade school.
And I wouldn't make the Diamondz bet.

So it's like the Hearts bet in Heart Attack from earlier this year. I wonder if there's a connection?
It looks like a no go but I will say this in its favor. The Three Card Poker version has a lower HE then the (now) common Pair Plus side bet, and its also lower than 00 Roulette. Call me maybe.

Have you tried 22 tonight? I said 22.
