Has anyone every analyzed the changes to the optimal strategy for your second hand - after seeing the four tiles in your first hand?

I would think it would be difficult if you try to remember all the combinations, but there may be some main takeaways. For example, if you have one or more teen/day in your first hand, it very well may influence how you play the second one.

It is why technically you are not allowed to share information. My personal experience is that there is lots of colluding to find out if all the teen or day tiles are out. The simplest example to strategy change would be to never play a wong instead of a gong if you knew the dealer could not have a teen or a day. And you would never play a gong instead of high 9 if you knew the dealer could not have a teen or day.

I agree that this is why you are not allowed to share information. However, casinos allow us to play two hands. It is within the rules for me to play a second hand and use the information I have gained from looking at the first one.

Clearly, if between the two hands I have seen one or more teen and day, I will worry less about the casino having one. I was wondering if there are any other easy strategy changes for the second hand. Thanks.

The answer is no. There may be some, but they won't be easy.
