The story of Andre Nestor and company, who exploited a video poker bug to the tune of millions, and then faced criminal charges for it, is being made into a movie. Here are a couple links about it:

GWAE---so sorry to hear about your mother. How was she unintentionally involved? I don't ever remember reading anything about a woman being involved in this at any point. I could be wrong about that though. Maybe I missed a link or post about a female somewhere. Just curious. Is her involvement going to be part of the movie? (if you know)

Whoa, I hadn't read any updates since the feds dropped the charges. Now I'm infuriated once again.

How in the world could the roommate sign over the money?! If he wasn't charged with a crime, let alone convicted, I don't understand how they weren't required to return his winnings to him.

This is absurd. I feel like Nestor should have a case against the Meadows and/or the authorities who seized his money and returned it to the Meadows, since he's still on the hook for the taxes! If he doesn't have a case, the Meadows should at least retract the W-2Gs with the IRS so he's not on the hook. Obviously they would love to cause him as much pain as possible, but shouldn't they be forced to make it right with respect to the taxes?

She was not involved in the playing or really with the operation at all. That is all I care to say about it.

She was questioned by the casino about them, but that is the gist of it.
