Online casino games are programed for the house to win. They are not random cards dealt or dice thrown. I never believed in online gaming but had to give it a shot a few years ago just to feed my curiousity. I played craps. Loaded the backroll with 2000. I just rolled the dice hundreds if not thousands of times without a wager just to see how random the numbers would come. When no money was bet, the random numbers were reasonable. Then as soon as I put money up, 7's came out like there was no tomorrow... and not when i was on the pass line.

i then had a live chat with one of the representives and questioned the validity of the program. the rep slipped and said that players have a better advantage of winning on their computer games because they pay out 95% which is better than at any real casino. I told the rep what he had just told me was that the dice rolled were not random, but merely programed to pay out a specific amount.

You see, real casinos have a set payout in slot machines because they are electronic.. and with respect to slots, yes, the payout is better by about 2%. However, this does not and should not apply to live games. Live games are random dealings. The house has an edge on all of these games over the long run... but at least its not programed as to what you will win or lose by a computer.

He didn't say it was programed for 95%, he said that is what they paid out. Craps pays out 98.59% on the pass line over time but it is not "programed" for that.

For a valid sample you would need far more trials.

That stinks that you had bad luck at the online casino. I do very well. It's all about energy and feeling it. When I feel it from my computer, and I bet, I win! But the trick is to cash out when you are ahead. How many times have you been winning at an online casino and then you keep playing and you log off a loser? You have to feel the ebbs and flows of the ones and zeroes, and hit the shutdown button when the electronic felt starts to cool. I wish you luck in the future!

Also, I wonder if he meant that 95% of players who buy in get something "paid out", ie they withdraw funds from the casino.

cclub, i would advise you not to brag about your online winnings. There are tons of insecure haters in this forum that have difficulty hearing of others that win. I can understand their viewpoint however, if I was a consistent loser and couldnt figure out how to come ahead and make money and enjoy my life, I would be a hater of those people too. It stems from human insecurity. Those that are unhappy with their own lives love to see others unhappy too. It makes them feel better about themselves. Keep up the winning online my brotha!

That's a remarkable statement from someone that's only been a forum member for 48 hours.

Business Wire press release Sept. 28, 2011, 2:20 a.m. EDT
I-Promotions Limited: Italian Online Casino Domains Sell at Sky High Prices

VALLETTA, Malta,-- Italian online casino domains have increased significantly in value following the recent regulation of the Italian online casino market on July 18th 2011.
I-Promotions Limited recently acquired blackjack.it (domain and website) at 65,000 Euros.

OnlineCasino.it is for sale at over 100,000 Euros. OnlinePoker.it according to the current owner is available at the mid 5 figures".

TrustPartners, a consultancy firm, estimated online casino revenue in Italy at 200 million Euros in 2011 and 800 million - 1 billion Euros in 2012.

The Italian online casino market is regulated now, which means that the casinos operating there need a license.

Only one of those domains actually sold (the least expensive one). The others are asking prices, and probably inflated ones. Domains are one of the most overvalued products out there right now, and one of the most difficult to move, as well. Interesting that this is turning into a bigger business in Italy, though -- it raises the question of whether those historic games that are still popular in Italian brick and mortar casinos will ever show up online (Chemin de Fer, Trente et Quarante, etc.).

Of course, that is why the source was a mere press release that more or less touted the domains and the potential in the industry. It is yet another reason to beware of online casinos and their "licenses".

It is on the matter of choosing the best online casino that would suit up your needs. Try to research first, and then see what would be the good thing that you might get in order to really make it happen.

Generic domains tend to be heavily overvalued. They may command ridiculous prices, but fail to generate revenue to justify them.
The simple fact is, not all that many people come online only to type in "internet.com".

Business.com is claimed to be the most expensive generic domain on the net at $400 million. Its Alexa rank is an appalling 7,981. Poker.com, claimed to be the most expensive domain by its owners, valued at $37.5 million, has a rank of 198,390. That's in fact beaten by WizardofOdds.com at 63,090 and just a bit ahead of WizardofVegas.com at 239,445.

What is actually visited? An actual poker room, PartyPoker.com, ranks 517. Web.com ranks 11,950 (while Web.de is 252). Ebay.org ranks 20 and ThePirateBay.org 76. Surprisingly, shock sites tend to rank much lower than their fame suggests (is the browser no longer alive to report?), although meatspin still ranks in 123,272 to beat Poker.com.
Finally, the home away from home for reasonable persons on the net, TheFlatEarthSociety.org, ranks 102,797.
