It appears that the American Gaming Association and others are asking the Dept. of Justice to crackdown on off-shore gaming... especially sports betting. Not surprising since a majority of States permit sports betting. And not surprising is the migration to on-shore sports book due to difficulty or not being paid.

Well after getting burned and essentially ripped off from one off shore account, I refuse to place any offshore bets, only those regulated by the states. They will take your money anytime, but when comes to cashing out, they gave you nothing but lies and eventually shut down

I don't know how sports betting in casinos outside of Las Vegas is doing, but based on what I've seen in the two tribal casinos in Oregon I go to it is an epic fail.

Very few people seem to be in the books when I visit.

This is the slowest times for sports book. No Pro or College football.

In states where you can bet legally on line, why hassle with cash? Why not line shop with the multiple books available? Why not take advantage of the myriad of offers that the on line books offer daily? Get in my car to go somewhere to place a bet if I don’t have to? Not hard to figure this one out.

Here in Ontario sportsbooks were allowed to open online for business in April. The bonuses have been unbelievable. It has been Christmas every day. I have been paid by all of them but I do my investigations before hand. The bonuses have been unreal. I started to do online casino bonus hunting around the year 2000 and had some great deals but nothing like today. More are still coming online up here but it will eventually end. Most offers are really hard to lose on.

In the Baltic countries, during the pandemic, the licensed online gamble market has grown so much that now it is almost three times biger than the baseland

Being in Nevada, I do have the luxury of betting online via their app or by visiting the actual book like Circa, William Hill, Caesar’s, etc. I will not bet online with anyone located offshore.

And that's all and fine, however, sometimes the risk is worth the reward. Sometimes you can get a %150 % bonus up to thousands with a 10x roll over at places that have a fairly good reputation. And that's not even including any refer a friend bonuses that come with just a 3x rolling over at places.

Vegas offers soo little so it's risk vs rewards.

I’ve been wondering if anyone has traveled in order to play online. I know sounds funny…

Over the last decade or so, it seems to me there have been threads by people in other states who could finally gain access legally. Just wondered if there were people who would place themselves in active jurisdictions prior to having access at home, or if a new state’s offers were good enough even if one already had access? For that matter, same question for different countries…

I have traveled for good opportunities, but I haven't explored all possibilities, you can't be everywhere at once.

All leagal jurisdictions have encountered have +EV opportunities
