Quote: heatmapSo apparently you are not allowed to use a virtual machine to access an online casino that they are partners with and they can ban you for as long as they please without question from the casino
can you be more specific? I have no idea what you are saying.

my state has just got "intra-state" online gambling and every casino works with a company or relys on a company called geocomply, or another company which basically make an app on smartphones and windows machines to verify you are within the state that you aret trying to gamble in. in my case pennsylvania.
so the plugin detected that it was running in a virtual machine. a virtual machine is something that can run other types of software other that my current operating system (linux). linux can not natively understand and know how to run this plug that is required by the casinos in order to access the online part of their casinos.
so since i have a linux computer, the only way i can play online is to run the software in a virtual machine, which is apparently a bannable offense to them.
and to ZCore, there is not a single mention of virtual machines on their website yada yada
link to the site please. From what I understand, many other regulated online casinos do in fact have this in their terms and conditions.Quote: heatmapmy state has just got "intra-state" online gambling and every casino works with a company or relys on a company called geocomply, or another company which basically make an app on smartphones and windows machines to verify you are within the state that you aret trying to gamble in. in my case pennsylvania.

please explain, privately if necessary.Quote: prozemaA VM would be an easy way to get access out of state.
Other states jut want to know that you are presently inside the state's boundaries.
There is no mention of prohibiting virtual machines, but it would be difficult to configure a virtual machine with the hardware resources the application requires, such as access to the WiFi or GPS chipsets. There are also many restrictions on network configurations, such as use of VPNs and proxy services.
The application “knows” the location of where it is running by accessing the WiFi and/or GPS resources, plus checking to see that no location cloaking services such as a VPN are in play.
Linux platforms are not supported because that would be the best environment to use for defeating the application’s purpose.

Disregard. I didn't think that all the way through.
The short answer is “yes.” Read the document for the specific requirements that apply.Quote: GWAE... Can you use your phone as a hotspot and just connect through your phone?
