I frankly like stopping while ahead. I might lose part of a big win but will definitely quit with most of the win. It would feel bad to lose it all back.
I'm still quite the low roller.... haha...
it's call stupid way to lose your money
I searched trustful platform, then I found holymolycasinos and took from their reviews some rating casinos - As for me - It's one way to find some new games, I know some guy, who working with holymoly and he told -"It's most trustfully way to start with casino online"
I start there without doubting, and in total it is good, but my luck lived me in decisive moment
I won $900 few weeks ago, and windrow them
Then I won $500 more, and stock, I had some family problem at that time
After I forgot about money on account and when I start to play in next time, i was surprised about money what I have)
But few days ago I lost everything and few 00$ more(
OUCH! A valuable lesson. Always have a few quid held back for a few doubles and splits. The hand that ends the night is often one that just keeps splitting and doubling... The sh1t or bust hand.Quote: LemonI once lost all my money and had 50p in my pocket and I stuck it on 0 on a European roulette wheel. It rolled into 0. £18 back and over to BJ. £18 on one hand, won. Up to £36 and double or nothing'd that all the way up to £288. Max bet on the table was £300 and I thought heck this all from 50p so I let it ride. I'm sitting in first position on the table. Dealer deals me an A, come on, come on . . . A for 2/12 against a 7. As I didn't have the £288 to split the Aces I hit . . . Q ball, 12. I hit again . . . K ball. Busto. Would have had 21 on both aces. Took me days to get over that hand and I still tell the story 15 years later!

Wow. Nobody knows the future, though. If you had bet £144 and gotten a blackjack, you would have thought that you should have bet £288.
That's one way of thinking.Quote: BlackjackLoverWow. Nobody knows the future, though. If you had bet £144 and gotten a blackjack, you would have thought that you should have bet £288.
Lemon realises his move was just plain wrong. Kudos to him for admitting it and holding it up as an example of how not to play.
Personally if I'd put the last of my session bankroll down for a hand of blackjack, then I'd have called myself a [insert expletive noun]*. If that hand had then won with a Blackjack, I'd have called myself a lucky, [insert expletive noun]. Lemon got the best result possible: A valuable lesson to remember.
Taking a wrong action and having a lucky result is still taking a wrong action. The outcome is academic.
*I've been a lucky [insert expletive noun] often enough. Not recommended.
I have had wins in the $2,500-$5,000 range but they are few and far between!

Yes, but his move wasn't without merit. You need luck anyway if you hope to win a negative expectation game. Parlaying £18 into £288 means that he won 4 rounds in a row. Winning 5 rounds in a row isn't rare, and the odds of getting a pair are only about 7.5%. Obviously, his move wasn't optimal, but I don't think that it was a very bad move. He just wasn't lucky. Having said that, I wouldn't stake my entire bankroll after winning 4 rounds in a row. Anyway, I agree that he got the best result. This lesson is worth much more than £288.
