Texas Choose 'Em is a simple poker-based game by Dragon Fish. Just bet who will win in a five-card stud showdown between a shown hand and an random face-down hand from the other 47 cards. Odds depend on the probability of winning.

I also posted this video of my play.

As always, I welcome comments, questions, and especially corrections.

The question for the poll is would you play Texas Choose 'Em?

I can't see the video (doesn't embed on my phone), but seems pretty simple.
Wouldn't just seeing the odds on every had help you figure out to bet one way of the other? 1%-49% don't bet your hand 51% and up bet your hand?

if it is that simple they wouldn't have it up.
as with all games, even without checking out the rules, you could be sure that when the probability of winning is 50% they only pay you 49.

Interesting concept. I would, at the very least, try it.

Except, I hate the name. It implies a variation of Texas Hold 'Em - which this ain't.

One question: I didn't track the cards, but when the bottom hand moves up, does the top hand get shuffled in? IE Is the bottom hand always dealt out of the 47 other cards?

Yes, that seems to be the case. Otherwise, the game could run out of cards.
