I just created a new page for a casino game offered by SoftSwiss called Minesweeper. This was a very simple analysis. Let me know what you think.
The question for the poll is would you play this game?

#2 says:
2.After making a wager the player will choose one of the two squares in the first two.
Should probably say "row" instead of "two" for the last word.

Consider changing the header for the third row analysis. "Stop After Three Wins" is not accurate since, even if you win, the game is over.
At first blush, I thought the winnings from the prevous rows were parlayed like the "double up" feature on Video Poker.
What makes the game unique is the ability to deduce bomb locations based on the "adjacent squares with bombs" clues. Maybe this game should be called "Coin Flip"?

When I play minesweeper on the computer, whenever I have a 50/50 decision, I'm 100% wrong!

Yeah, but, if you're playing, you're going all the way.Quote:Strategy:

Kinda makes me think that there should have been a zero edge, or at least smaller edge, reward / incentive for getting all three.
Poll? I love Minesweeper. I would not play this, even if it was zero edge at EVERY decision. Too boring.

this is a standalone game? looks more like a bonus to a slot game to me... I'd pass on playing the standalone version but would play if it were a slot bonus game

I don't think it's terrible. It's funner than betting on an actual coinflip. Plus it has that nostalgia effect of being related in name and appearance to minesweeper.

I agree. When I saw the title I thought this would be a game that I would crush. I used to play all the time and could be expert level in record times.
This game is just stupid. You are guessing which one to pick. There is no other strategy to use unlike the real game. Also, why would anyone go past the first row. You are losing money on each row with no extra info to help make the pick.
Overall I rate this game major fail.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.

Yep.
And perhaps that should have been part of the poll options.

I didn't realize the player had five different board to choose from in Minesweeper. After I discovered this I totally rewrote my Minesweeper page. I welcome you to return. As always, I welcome questions, comments, and especially corrections.
