Hello Wiz! Long time poker player/blackjack novice player here. I wanted your opinion on which of the plethora of blackjack games offered on 5dimes - bonus, match, live - offers the best player overall odds. I'm not sure how the constant shuffle affects the house edge on these games. Thanks for the great site(s)!

A constant shuffle is equivalent to the first round of a shoe game.

Horrible rules on 5dimes. I was playing for $1-$8 just to get some stats and it was not good results.

I got a pair of 7's and dealer had a 6 up so I split and got a 7 on each hand. Swear to God. I tried to resplit like you can at a land based Casino and couldn't. I stand on 2 14's and dealer ends up with a 19.

That was the last hand that I have ever played on 5dimes. No surrender and dealer hits soft A6 too. Horrible!!! I said that already :-)

I would certainly play on any site where the dealer hits a 19. :)

According to my calculations 5Dimes actually offer 2 versions of Blackjack where the player has an edge:

Blackjacks pays 2 to 1 Version2 +0.009 player edge and Blackjack pays 2 to 1 Version1 +0.037 player edge.

Yes, they may have some UGLY rules such as "no double" or "ties 17 lose", but Blackjack 2 to 1 make up!

Good luck. Some online sites are known for taking a freerole at their players.

Thanks for the replies....I actually had $50 left over in my poker account on Lock Poker (:-P) that I didn't know was there. I moved it over to their casino side and ran it up to $3000 at their RTG blackjack game (6 deck, H17, DAS, No Surrender)! Of course it will be 4+ weeks before I get a check!

This is an ancient post, I know. I've discovered since updating my browser that I can play all the free games. Now, as far as that goes, IMHO one of the best Blackjack Versions there is the Single deck Bonus Blackjack Multi-player. BJ3/2 H17 D9 NoDAS RS4 RSA LS. The bonus you ask? HSA. EV -0.1%. Not too shabby.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Why do you say that? I never had a problem with them. I spanked their FPDW years ago. They had a hick up years ago with some slow pays.

I have heard some big sports AP bettors bitch about being backed off.

If im wrong about them then fine. Im new to online casinos and have only used club world and sun palace as other websites have them listed as reputable. If 5 dimes has live dealer and they are reputable maybe ill give them a go. Problem in NY is some US friendly casinos dont accept NY

Sun is still around and US friendly? I used to play there they, had good bonuses. What good games do they offer, Bonuses? What's cashing out like? PS the BJ seemed gaffed to me.

I would give 5D a chance. they have strange VP

Yea sun palace is still around I like them. Im a member at casino meister and they used to be accredited but lost that due to pay out times. However they still recommend them for US players. Actually sun palace only likes to do business with north america

I only use them for the live dealer feature

Sun palace cashout via check or bank transfer
Clubworld is via bank card that you pay with

Moderators if im violating rules right now tell me : excerpt from meister site:

Edit: The following is an excerpt from Casinomeister website rankings of on-line casinos. mod

Main Street Group was listed in our Accredited section for a number of years until the US market bottomed out. These RTG powered casinos and have been under the same owner/operator for over a decade. Anyway, their payments for winnings slowed down which prompted a number of complaints concerning their inability to process cashouts expediently - thus they were removed from the Accredited section.

Nevertheless, their treatment towards players has always been in sync with Casinomeister's philosophy statement (listed here).

They tried to come back via the Baptism by Fire section in the Spring of 2013, but their bonus terms are a bit unfair (IMO) for non-US/non-Canadian players, so I feel it's best to list them in the Reservation section.

US and Canadian players may find them amicable - everybody else should just avoid their bonuses.
