This is an old series and I remember watching it a lot of years back. I think it was enjoyable viewing at the time

There was also one about the start-up of Green Valley Ranch, I think.

There’s another one on Amazon Prime called “Casino Confidential” that was a reality show inside Binions Casino.

It’s a “so bad it’s good” type deal that is hard to look away from.

I was going to be heavily featured on an episode of that show, however it got cancelled before they had a chance to edit the footage. Or maybe I was so boring they decided to kill it.

if you are talking about the show i posted its not boring its sporadic as in they didnt necessarily focus on the casino operators but more on the people and the experiences they had in vegas while the owners try to make money

It was also painfully set up - amazing how they just happened to have cameras pointed on the whales as they were headed into Vegas.

But then, that's about what I expected from the network that brought us The Princes of Malibu (where Brandon and Brody Jenner come up with one crazy scheme after another to make money; one example was setting up an outdoor theater to show a film from a screener, which just happened to be a movie that was about to be released on DVD, and on a screen whose company got a "promotional consideration" credit - not to mention the credited "day players," one of which, IIRC, was singer and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actress Tatyana Ali).

Hold on...The Simpsons has been renewed for two more seasons? Oh, how can I stay mad at Fox...

They're going to cancel that show when either Dan Castellaneta or Harry Shearer retire. Probably Shearer first, since he's 75 years old. I think they'll probably pull the plug at the 40th season regardless. Maybe even 35...? Hank Azaria does a ton of voices, too, but I think Dan and Harry do more of the main characters so they could probably work around Hank leaving (if he decided to).

This usually gets brought up for discussion at NoHomers.net. My opinion is, if Castellaneta, Azaria, or Shearer leave the show for whatever reason, they won't be able to replace all of the characters any one of them do; also, if any of them, or Julie Kavner (who is 68) or Yeardley Smith die, they won't be replaced out of respect for the actor, and they won't write any of the major characters out of the show. (On the other hand, if Kavner or Smith decide to retire, it shouldn't be that hard to replace them, considering how few voices they do.)

I also wouldn't be surprised if the three main male cast members have some kind of "suicide pact," where if, say, Harry Shearer decides he wants to retire or something, the other two will say, "Yep, we're done, too."

I suppose Kavner and Smith could be in on it, too, but like you said, I think they're "replaceable" to some extent.
