"Recreational gamblers"

I guess the best way to desvribe 90% of us here is recreational gamblers. There are some pro and semi-pro players and also some problem gamblers
I think most of us play just got the fun of it, hoping for a win but expecting a loss.

Sometimes it feels like there are posters here who only see two types of players, the AP’s who are crushing the casino, and stupid gambling addict ploppies.
But if you ever meet or get to know some people who post here, you will find a lot of different types of players.
As far as AP’s go, there are a few that do it full time as their main source of income. But much more common is an AP with an entirely different career who is beating the casino to make some side money.
I am absolutely a [very casual] recreational gambler, but I will use my knowledge of gambling math and AP techniques and make that recreational gambling as cheap as possible or free. I think there are quite a few people who do the same.
But if you ever meet or get to know some people who post here, you will find a lot of different types of players.

I would say that probably describes most members here including myself
When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums

If this were a poll, I'd vote myself as recreational gambler. And on recent form, I've been spending my entertainment budget :o|

On some gambling website someone said something like," If you view gambling as a movie you saw in trailers, thought it looked interesting,and make tentative and loose plans to see it like 2 weeks after it's been released, you are a recreational Gambler.
