I like Munchkin. I got no problems with Munchkin. But what's Dancer talking about when he says he brings something to the show that neither he nor the Wizard bring?
He's someone Bob Dancer actually likes?
That's the best I can come up with.

I admit that I haven't listened to any of the shows although I intend to. Has he not discussed anything that interests you? If you google him you'll see why he would be in demand for a gambling show.
As an aside, why do these guys change their names? Dancer? Munchkin? Wong? I guess we know why but how do they pick their pseudonyms?

Stanford Wong picked his name because he graduated from Stanford and wanted something oriental-sounding to be his last name. I believe he also wanted to be called something else originally, but it was already taken.
Bob Dancer changing his name had something to do with avoiding heat with respect to his professional video poker playing pursuits. He chose the name, "Dancer," because that is his favorite hobby. I think he actually chose that name on the fly while at a casino.
I don't know very much about Richard Munchkin, except for listening to him on Gambling with an Edge, but I must admit that I don't catch as many episodes of that as I probably should...

Just add Anthony Curtis and Max Rubin and you will have a reunion of all the guests on the old Travel Channel/ Discovery Network shows of the late 90's.

And Scoblete.
I kept seeing a young Wizard on those Vegas shows on the Destination network a few weeks ago!

A wealth of experience in different forms of gambling with an edge. Bob and Michael have their specialties, and so does Munchkin.

Yes, why Shackleford? Why didn't the Wiz pick an easier
to spell name?

Maybe he wanted to ride the coattails of that famous actor Ted Shackleford.

I thought Wizard named himself after the 2011 Preakness Stakes winner Shackleford; currently retired from racing, beginning stud career at Darby Dan Farm in Lexington.
