Ibjust read in a suspension thread a comment about sice setting could work if you disnt have to bit the back wall (paraphrasing) and innthe challenge bet that never materialized with laymedown and the wizzard there eas some insistence that the dice hit the backwall.

My question is does anyone think DI woukd work with a casino who allowed rolls that dis not hit the backwall and barely crossing the midpoint (stopping near 6 or 8) and never says a word?

Was in two seperate casinos last week and seen it happen in 30% of the rolls and neber a mention of hitting the back wall. Both casinos were owned by the same company just different cities and to my knowledge no presence in vegas.

I am not a DI guy just curious because as mentioned those rubber spikes on the wall are rhere for a reason?

It won't work if you dropped the dice straight down from 3 inches high onto a flat surface.

True...The only thing which works is skilled sliding where the player knows the result of one die. Everything else is about selling seminars to the naive and socially inept.

Put me in the skeptical camp of dice influencing provided the other elements to the roll are there -- thrown in the air and travel to the opposite end of the table.

The rubber spikes are there to ensure a random roll and that's why the casino wants you to hit them when you're rolling.

The more experienced players/dealers can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the stickman can call any roll a "no roll" when it doesn't conform to the rules by their judgement. Typically the person rolling will be warned if the dice don't hit the back wall consistently and I've heard many stickmen say, "Please hit the back wall or I will call a no roll".

Now I do believe in a form of Dice Influencing, but it's cheating -- dice sliding. You slide the dice along the table making it look like a roll, but the number facing up never changes. I believe there was a dice sliding case at the Wynn in Las Vegas a number of years ago. The Wynn installed raised bumpers around the box that contains the hardways to help prevent dice sliding. I believe there was another incident in Cleveland more recently -- and the video the prosecutor uses is on YouTube.

They can, but they don't. Put the dealers in the game. They never bother you.

We won't risk our job for that, even if they are betting for us.

Both dice back wall every time. Me personally, I usually give 2 maybe 3 warnings before passing to the next shooter (unless its obvious that individual has never thrown dice farther than a monopoly board) But it all depends on the boxman too.

Also, DI is a myth, and the classes/books are all a big scam.

Curious how you handle an older person who cant make the back wall?
