I have seen bad behavior at the table, i have seen drunk people at the table, i have
seen rude people at the table, and on and on

But..... never have i seen beyond stupid

I am not sure i was playing with Mustangsally or just a friend of hers...

Last night i was at a casino in southern Wisconsin which just put in the ATS bet, my
favorite.

This is a 14' table with moderate bounce.

First two times with the dice were not affective so i changed some and third hand i hit
the tall and had all the numbers except the 2. I had about 15 rolls to hit the darn thing
but could not get it... but still profitable roll

Guy next to me did nothing then the next and then there was a lady playing the donts on
SL3 and a guy playing the dont on the far hook. They both passed.

Lady had a $5 dont pass no odds so did the guy, but they were off to the sides so i
had open area to throw to. I hit a couple of points and all the numbers except the 6
and 12., things were looking good.

I set the dice and looked up to throw and what the hell???????.... the dont lady had
moved her dont bets to the end of the table and added 10 times odds and so did the guy
and there was no way to get the dice to the back wall.... zero......this was an attempt to
give me no where to throw..... why in the hell would you do that.... each side of the
bet gives you $105 with only $3 bet and all gets a cool $528. I had the crew up on it
as well.

I asked the pit, why is she on the side betting now on the end???? he said he saw what she did
but what can you do.

I said well take all my bets off and i passed the dice.

You have to be some kind of stupid to want to make a couple of dollars instead of hundreds, and
also i just had a 30 or better roll and was working on another.

You cant fix stupid

FYP

"You have to be some kind of (*insert adjective*) to believe that the positioning of chips on the layout makes a difference on the outcome of a dice roll. You can't fix (*insert adjective*).

FWIW, I too would find their actions to be annoying, as I prefer a clean landing area for a dice throw, but that is just personal preference / quasi-superstition on my part.

However, unlike you, I view their actions as noncontributory to the outcome of the roll.

We're all just random rollers on this bus.

Very interesting story, and I learned something as well, thanks. Can't imagine why you needed to take a shot at a member in order to tell it. I'm going to assume you were joking and just issue a warning, since MS plays pretty rough as well.

Re: Tina/Proud Mary. One of my all-time favorites since they recorded it in, what was it, about 1971? Glad she keeps it in the repertoire.

Dice setter, you and I are both probably just too nice to succeed at craps in a dog eat dog world.

It appears to me that, many people viw money is their religion, ie greed is good.

It seems like another bit of truth occured to me last week. The dealers either secretly or overtly hate you. They hate me as well, or are just miserable and wish to share that. My experience and op here is directed at craps dealers in general. I quit bj when it went 6/5, I leave that to the pro's and the newbies.

I want to imprint that in my brain before my next game. A mantra, "the dealer hates you, the dealer hates you", I tip way to much, and I know it. I hope you didn't tip those renegade croupiers, till you were ready to leave. That's what I will do.

I played a few days ago. I was angry at a dealer and it is my fault. Let me explain. A person with way less than good english was dealing and I had been putting them in the game. I am deaf at 4&5 kh, where most human speach is. AND well over 35, so there is that. She garbled something at me and I gave the "what", 4 times. I finally set the dice down and cupped my ear and another dealer had to tell me that what she was asking is if I wanted to put her in the game. Whew. In petro's own way, petro lost control and said something, which could be understood as probably inappropriate to someone with normal hearing that didn't understand the frustrations.

I need Aaron for my craps consigliere, but can't get him to travel to Laughlin.

Yes Sally, Tina is hot!! She is the definition of hot, she got legs, long legs and has ovecome some real crap[pun] and, and attitude, not unlike you dear girl.

ps; I followed transcendental darts down some rabbit hole and I still don't understand the comcast thing, I am male, I am over 35/40 etc.

A warning,,,, now that is interesting.... indeed.... she indicated that as part of her play
they make a bet against the point and then do what ever they can to make him 7 out.

Apparently you either assumed she was jesting ( which i dont think she was) or
you assume that is a proper way to play.

Which is it???

PS And yes my comment was made just in passing, but to be honest, that is
one of the first things that came to mind. craps is just a game, but at times
poeple do things to try to distract a shooter, this certainly was one of those
times.

You know what i am talking about. This was a 14 table and i was on the very end with my shot, they had a chip, then a bridge 9
high, there were chips on the pass line and chips on top, so the only place i could get to the back wall was SL3 corner
in the hook. Now we have played enough so you know we just adjust, but this was done on purpose, and from the end
there was no way to adjust, i had an opening 3-4 inches wide from 14' or the hook.

I could have thrown and tried but i did not for three reasons... 1 i would not give them the satisfaction......
2....i was the only player on the table betting for the crew and i wanted to point that out. 3... i only
had a 6 and 12 to make for either a small, tall or all, and since i could not throw the way i was, i felt the
next player had just as good of chance as i had. It turned out he threw and hit their chips anyway and it
was a 7.

I assumed she was being funny, but I could be wrong.

However, if you want to take exception to her words or actions, do so without calling Sally herself "beyond stupid". That's the reason for the warning, since that's what you said, without so much as a wink or indication you were teasing her. It's a personal insult as phrased, and against the rules.

You are also welcome to disparage this anonymous woman who was apparently legally within her rights but ethically rude at your table; she's not a member, to my knowledge.

I'm not sure why this is difficult to understand. But it's like trying to explain a joke; it just becomes tiresome to read and pedantic of me to try and explain on the board what should be obvious before someone clicks "post". Perhaps I should just say "screw transparency" and swing the ban hammer without warnings or explanations?

Petro finds humor here as well, I really crack me up sometimes.

I too thought of Sally during my last game, honestly.

I laid the point against the shooter, it was no problem with the shooter, 4-5 times and won. I did so after reading Sally's posts about 6 out of 10 shooters never making a point? Except us of course.

edit; this post was made in response toward dicesitter, sometimes stands and lets dice rest is his Huron name, admiring of Sally and compassionate of Babs.

Thanks babs for sticking with this thankless job. It seems like maybe a moderator between the posters and mods may be in order?

Kinda makes you miss the ole leg breaker doesn't it?

I reread my post and i did not call mustangsally anything...period end of story.

My thought, and it should have been fairly clear to you,..,... was that why would anyone try to stop
a person from hitting a bonus bet just to make a couple of dollars when they could have made more
on the bonus bet, in addition that was coupled with the idea that why would a dont player just after a
30 plus roll with 5 pass winners and a tall win and now in the middle of a similar roll all of a sudden
try to disrupt that same shooter...

My reference to Mustangesally was meerly a logistical reference in that she indicated in her post
that she bets against a shooter and tries to disrupt them........ she has never said she was a stupid
player that does stupid things, and i dont think she is either.

Now you can misread my post anyway you want, you can warn me again or you can ban me.. but i am sure
Mustangsally understands the jist of my post and that it was not personal.

As far as my post is concerned, what i saw yesterday was beyond stupid.

Hi MustangSally, I always like a broad who stands out in a raid! I do want to thank you for your posts even though the math is always beyond me and for your tag line which has inspired me to explore her videos from time to time. I'm usually in the first base dealer's Number Three slot, but will now be spending more time in the poker variant pits.

My first reaction was he was calling Sally
stupid. I reread it & there is no other way
to see it, sorry. There's a literary name for
a faux pas like this, I don't recall what it
is.
