I played craps for 2+ hours last night @ Bethlehem Sands; got there at 7:55pm, left at 10:30pm, played on 3 different craps tables and LITERALLY only FOUR points were made the entire time I played. Though there were a few decent rolls (Place Bets, Hardways, etc). No one could make a point to save their lives. If I would have layed the Point and Place Bet the rest of the numbers with the hardways hitting like they were last night; I would have made a killing!
I usually announce where I play beforehand, you can come and document all the rolls there yourself. I usually post where I am going to be playing before I get there. You want proof of my Trip Reports....show up at the Casinos where I play!
I got killed at Taj Mahal in AC playing Craps on 5/23 betting the Pass Line..on another craps forum (hint) a Don't bettor made a post about it being a "Don't players Dream" at the same casino the same time I was there getting killed.
Bethlehem Sands tonight....from 7pm until my bankroll runs out or 4am....whichever comes first.
PM me if you are there and interested in playing craps or saying hello...
The other thing I don't do is play hindsight. And I'm trying to stick to playing either pass or don't pass without changing. In my last craps session, the shooters were sevening out so quickly that I did switch. Then four points in a row got made. I switched back, and you can guess what happens.
So I'm mulling over this for Nareed's laws: don't bet on past results.

If.
I'm game. I could use some extra cashQuote: 7crapsI will pay you and the Wizard 87 in US currency.
That will cost me 174 US each session.
Minimum rolls per session: 200
Game??
I even have some old sessions I have collected.
Here are the rolls and what the shooters rolls looked like once I got them from WinCraps into Excel.

Sure, your trips may be factual. It is extremely difficult, probably impossible, for any craps player to tell exactly what happened during a 2+ hour session.Quote: CrapsForeverAll my trip reports are 100% factual.
I do not track every session as I know 7Craps does,
but it sure makes it easy to see what really did happen if you just take a few seconds to write down the rolls..
Enjoy!
Not IF, should.Quote: JamieVStill think it would be cool if you tracked the rolls.
I track rolls almost everytime I play.
I am a believer in patterns.
Maybe you could track and post your rolls from tonight and I can go over them? I love analyzing actual roll data.
Not only COOL, but useful in seeing what actually happened.
No guess work required
Enjoy the craps stories
If everyone documented their own rolls, think of all the excellent actual data we can collect.Quote: CrapsForever

The stories can have some truthful facts to go with them.
And it could prove that not all dice rolls on a Craps table are random.
Which produces more random rolls?
Both dice hitting the back wall or just one die hitting the back wall or no dies hitting the back wall?
I have a few times. Got killed when the points started to hit.Quote: CrapsForeverHas anybody played like this? Hindsight is always 20/20 but seems like this would have been a winning/ (less losing) "strategy" when looking back at a lot of my craps sessions.
Most times you have a very high ~4.7% HE to overcome.
One just does not know WHEN a group of points will lose.

People who I see tracking every single roll on paper on the craps table don't play that much. When I enter a Casino, the very few breaks I take other than betting are to go to the Cage to cash chips in (I do this after every minimum $100 profit when the shooter eventually 7's out). I don't play craps as much as I would like; I play on land based casinos an average of once every couple of months (I live in Florida). I am not going to spend the few precious hours I have writing down every roll by every single player trying to prove a point.
How bad is your memory that people can't remember the specific details about their craps sessions?
My rolls last night:
Roll #1 - 4,7
Roll #2 - 2, 3,4,7
Roll #3 - 10, 7
Roll #4 - 11, 4, 7
I touched the dice on 4 attempts. Please stop with all this "Selective Memory BS"

I will be using this "strategy" tonight; unless a new "Trend" occurs which I will immediately switch to. I'll report back on the results tomorrow.
I tried the "Laying the Point and Place Betting other numbers" several times during this session on saturday night/early sunday morning:
ABSOLUTE DISASTER! I did NOT win a SINGLE lay bet (15+ Lay Bets) in a manic 12 hour session!
I started flip-flopping (Pass Line/No Pass Line) throughout the game and seemed to always be on the wrongside. The table minimums were way too high for my bankroll ($15/$25 Minimum). I should have never played there because being underfunded playing craps is almost always a recipe for disaster
It ended up being one of my worst beatings in a casino in one day (Lost $1,400)...I brought my $500 craps session funds but had my ATM card on me which I try to NEVER bring and kept on withdrawing money looking like a zombie. The worst part of the story was I had several good rolls and was on tables where people had great runs and made lots of money but I bet way too passively on great rolls, bet on way too many people and had absolute horrific timing.
Personally, I had one of my most consistent nights rolling the dice in a long time, I had several great rolls and called "off" my bets at the absolute right time when I was rolling. On my rolls alone; I made over $500 in profit. The tables were too packed and I did not have the patience to just wait for my rolls. I got into an altercation with another craps player (Explained in further detail below in "BABE RUTH CALL") while I was having a great roll....a player walked up to buy in during the game...I BEGGED the player to wait until the puck was "off"....he didn't wait. No reasonable explanation but a player buying in during my craps roll ALWAYS throws me off. I took down my bets...Hopped the 7's for $5 each...the next throw was a "SEVEN". One of the craps players accused me of "Sevening out intentionally" and tried to confront me because the exact same thing occurred several times through the night.
BABE RUTH CALL?
My favorite moment over the weekend...happened when a player bought in during the middle of my roll...dropping 2 $100 bills and saying $160 Across. After BEGGING him to not to join in..he said "Roll the Dice"...another player came up to my left and put $75 on the field and I said "Ohh, you want to join in the party too by disrespecting the game". I went into a mini-rave about people not having any craps etiquette...I called "off" on my bets and told the entire table to call "off" because I "knew" I was going to Seven out immediately. Only a couple of people listened....I will go to my grave saying....."If I call off my bets, CALL OFF". I hopped the 7's for $5 each and made a $5 Horn and said loudly...."People who just bought in during my roll....even though I begged you not to"... "MARINATE ON THIS SEVEN".
I SWEAR on everything I have in this world including my wife and mother....the next roll was a SEVEN! Greatest called shot (Babe Ruth?) in my craps career!!!
A few seconds later, this short stocky man who was on the table playing... came up on me and screamed at me "Mother*ucker, this is the 3rd time in a row you have called "off" your bets and sevened out", "Why don't you just play the don't pass line, you *astard?" I screamed back..."I told everyone to call their bets off"...you should have listened.
This was the funniest moment ever for me on a craps table! Even though I lost a lot of money overall...I will cherish that moment forever!
GREATEST CRAPS BETTOR EVER?
In my 12 years of playing craps...this may have been the craziest thing I have ever seen. This guy must have been a psychic because he made the craziest bets I have ever seen in my life and won most of them.
I saw a craps player win $3,000+ off a $300 Buy-in (He was not shooting the dice) around 4am on Sunday morning. Then he came back around 8:45am on Sunday morning and made another $3,500+ off another $300 Buy-in (He was shooting the dice; no setting, picking them up and just winging them). His roll lasted about 20 minutes....the table was not overly packed and there were minimal "Hop" Bets so the pace was very fast. He made a total of Seven points and hit lots of place numbers.
If you know anyone who works at Bethlehem Sands, please call them to confirm. There was only one craps table open after about 6am so it will be very easy to recall the player.
This guy was making ridiculous pass Line Bets on a $15/$25 table progressing from Pass Line Bets of ($50 to $100 to $200).
He made odd bets that always mirrored or doubled his Pass Line Bet even though the odds on the table was 5x, his ranges were ($50 to $100 to $200 to $400).
He made Hardway Bets that ranged from ($25 to $50 to $100).
He made ridiculous Field Bets that ranged from ($300 to $500). He won 7 out of 8 Field Bets that I personally counted. (I will admit after seeing him win 4 Field bets in a row, I made sure to always put $50 on the field whenever he bet and I almost never play the field).
He had Place Bets that ranged from ($50 to $200)
He kept on making crazy bets......saying "I don't care", "This is House Money, I don't care"...it was definitely one of the most impressive displays I have ever seen of a player betting like a lunatic and getting paid! He left the casino around 9am screaming "I just made over $6,500 off an original $300 buy-in"......
I asked him after his GREAT 20 minute roll: any advice on why he was playing so well and if he was a regular at Bethlehem Sands? He replied "I'm visiting from out of town...I play Craps like I play Dice in the streets", "Pick up the Dice and wing them", "Bet like a lunatic", "This is gambling, just go crazy with your bets".
One day...I pray that I will grow the balls to bet like a lunatic!

On that Babe Ruth call I wish you could have told the rest of us! Seems like you intentionally threw that seven.

Was it "coincidence" that you were also "off" during that roll? Why were you pointing your finger and smiling at me after the throw?
I announced it loud and clear. You listened...great job!
Parlay,
Welcome to the WOV forum! I have been telling you to join for years. These guys here are very intelligent and will help you a lot in your Blackjack game!
A few quick pointers from me about the forum...
1) Don't take things personally....
2) Learn as much as you can.
3) Try to give advice when you can.
I play like this. I like it.
Cover the points with your lay. Each time a point hits, you can reduce your lay bet. After 4 points or so, you are in the black, you can remove your lay bet and have NO liability.
Quote: ParlaySeems like you intentionally threw that seven.
If you can intentionally throw ANYTHING, I'll bet on that
BTW: I always thought you were an old guy CF... 33 and you're a die-hard crapper? wow..LOL, and I thought I was bad for 29...
