i was on a HOT roll. i had over $1000 in odds + place/buy on the table. The point was just hit and now is the passline roll. A 7 comes and all my odds come down.
then i get a 'Jackpot' ticket of $600. Apparently anytime you add over $600 to your winnings at once in NY, there's a $600 payout. This is not taxable. There's no w2G form.
no problem. the point is now a 9 ($30 passline, max odds), and i bought $100 on 4/10 and placed $100 on 6/8. the next # is a 8. YEAH baby!
so now i have $120 odds on 9 + $150 odds on the 8 (and the $100 place bet on the 8 is still there). Next # is a 6. YEAH baby except i get ANOTHER 'Jackpot' ticket. I was like WTF?!
Then i noticed all my odds and buy/place bets were taken down, including the passline odds?!?! $30 Pass on 9 and $30 Come bet on 8 were still there.
WTF indeed?!??!??!?
and to make matters worse, when i finally comprehended what was happening, the dice rolled. I had no odds/buy/place bets on the board nor did i have a come bet! :(
luckily it was a 5.
i then maxxed out the odds, plus $30 come bet. a 7 rolled (Of Course!)
I was happy w/the long streak, but WTF is with my bets taken down?!

ummm, possibly taxable. But I get your point, no need to establish losses vs wins if no fed form with it.
Question: do the machines for "organic craps" seem to be the same as Maryland will use in Arundel Mills?
Quote: odiousgambitI dunno what happened there, some glitch for sure.

based on the pic on the Anne Arundel casino website, it would say yes. it looks EXACTLY the same as the one I just played.
yeah.. no need to travel 250miles for my e-Craps fix! (plus all those tolls... )
You said you had $150+$100+$100 so the limit wouldn't be $250, but maybe it's $500.
By the way, I was playing at Santa Fe Station on a $1 minimum machine and a shooter got on an absolutely TORRID roll. 44 rolls (I counted), and he made every point. I had every number up with $5 max odds. I never pressed. Made about $250. Best part? No tipping!
It is not any limit on the aggregate of the bets. It is strictly limited to the $600+ voucher being forced to print out.
If you have several points established and each point would result in a voucher win, then the other bets get taken off soon as the point is made however...
If you have the same money at risk only on don't, then the money does not come off when the point number is made(because no voucher prints to trigger--you lost your bet). Of course when the seven rolls on the don't bettor the voucher prints and all the bets come down but they would do that anyway.
Quote: teddysCheck the game rules. Sometimes those games have a MAX aggregate limit of all your bets on the table. I know on most of the Aruze Shoot-to-win machines in Vegas it is $250 max for ALL your bets. You can't go over that with any combination of bets.

Wow 44 numbers? I would have made well over 5k from 44 numbers. Sorry to hear you only made $250.
