Welcome back. I was wondering what happened to you. Thanks for the report. Sorry about your luck at Riviera. How did you manage to lose that much in two days, rightside or darkside with max odds? I think Council Bluffs Horseshoe is a fine property; awaiting the report on that one.

After my review, I went back several more times to the Santa Ana Star. I was eventually banned from the star for abusing the craps game (max bet on 4,10, refusing to return mispay on the field, never tipping dealers, and not making pass bets). Now that the Sandia has the same 4,10, I will go back and play at the Sandia. I don't mind getting banned, as it saves me from my gambling addiction (I take the same view as Steve from discountgambling.net, as when he was banned from Barona for abusing the +EV games, in that banishment is a good thing because it cures addiction and frees up time).

Btw, I was one of the players who played max odds at the riviera when they had 1000x odds. I lost my entire years bankroll of $100,000 in about two days, hence the reason for my hiatus. But now it's a new year and I will gamble for a little bit, post reports here, and then disappear until next year. My net loss for the year was approx 30,000, as I had won approx 45,000 from the Star (all luck, no advantage play), which I didn't touch, and 25,000 from triple attack BJ before I was backed off the game (mmmmm, I love that game). The triple attack BJ win was mostly luck, as my win rate was way higher than the player advantage shown on discountgambling.net. I wired my 100,000 bankroll to the riviera and left with zero. Ouch.

I will be posting a report on Council Bluffs Horseshoe soon.

Ahigh, if you want, I will be at Sandia at the end of May, if you want to meet up. btw, you can not wire money to the star, so you have to have it on you. Dangerous walking around with a $50,000 brick.

Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the Star.

Hey send me a PM. It might be fun to get a few people together for this type of thing. I think even the cynics of dice control might want to make bigger bets if there is no house edge at all on a bet that resolves every roll. I'd love to see you get some of your money back that the Riv rook from ya.

Hi guys, yes. Let's meet up. If not at Sandia, then let's meet at Barona. I've been resisting Barona because I fear myself getting addicted to the MS game and triple attack BJ, especially MS. I know Steve said that it was so bad for him that he was glad after he was banned from Barona.

Btw, why are there not more reviews of Barona? Is everyone afraid of killing the golden goose, or does no one go to Barona?

I lost the entire bankroll by betting right side. I'm usually able to exploit something at craps to overcome the .02 HE at craps, but when you are betting $3005-5005 a hand, the box watches everything very carefully, so there is no AP craps play. There was a minor AP play in that they gave me free dead chips worth about .5% of my deposit, and other consideration worth about 1%. My expected loss was about $8 an hour, and I received about $1500 in consideration. Apparently, their marketing department and math department do not communicate well.

Unfortunately, I have no dice control. The Captain was my granddaddy, and the old man, when he passed away, didn't leave me instructions on how to use the dice control superpower. So now, not only can I never fly straight, but I also can't control the dice.

So, one pass line bet and two come bets with $1000 odds? I can't quite figure out your betting style. I take it you didn't take *full* advantage of the 1000x odds. Bad variance either way. How was your treatment at Riviera?
