I'm in town for G2E and had some time to kill tonight so naturally I hit the dice tables. The table was reasonably warm when the shooter, who had just made his 2nd or 3rd point, said "hold on, I'll be right back," and sprinted to the bathroom. And the boxman actually did. We waited for about five minutes for him to come back, and all the while we're chuckling with incredulity. I overheard one of the supervisors say that this guy has done this before, last time for ten minutes.

Anyway, he returned from the restroom to an amused table and a less-than-amused boxman. And what did he throw on his comeout? Craps. Twice. Go figure.

To his credit, he shot for another ten minutes after that. That's not as exciting as it sounds, however, because the table was moving at about 45 rolls per hour at that point.

Unbelievable! Why would he?

Where was this at? Was the table full? No Action = Lost Money to the house. Was the shooter tipping? I've never seen that happen.

I have only seen this when the shooter had about twice as much action as the rest of the table combined. If the shooter is a big time player, it can happen. If not, the dice is generally passed on.

Could have been a known shooter to the casino, and he has a legitimate medical problem so that he HAS to go to the bathroom...
Still, it IS just being nice, by the casino...
