Question on this calculation:

/games/craps/appendix/1/

Under "Lay Bets"

Lay bet to lose on 6 or 8: [(6/11)×19 + (5/11)×(-25)]/25 = (-11/11)/25 = -1/25 ≈ -4.000%

(1) I'm wondering if this should be

[(6/11)×19 + (5/11)×(-26)]/26 ≈ -0.0559

Because of the vig being paid upfront. This would align it with the other two calculations which do include the vig:

Lay bet to lose on 5 or 9: [(6/10)×19 + (4/10)×(-31)]/31 = (-10/10)/31 = -1/31 = -3.226%
Lay bet to lose on 4 or 10: [(6/9)×19 + (3/9)×(-41)]/41 = (-9/9)/41 = -1/41 ≈ -2.439%

(2) Better yet, use a number that is evenly divisible by 6, so the payout is better:

PER BET RESOLVED:
((6/11)×24+ (5/11)×(-31))/31 ≈ -0.03226

PER ROLL:
> ((6/36)*24+ (5/36)*(-31))/31
[1] -0.009856631

This would align with other calculations such as the Place to Win.

(3) If so, this page would also need updating:

/games/craps/appendix/2/

- Change the house edge per bet resolved from 4.00% to 3.23%
- Change the house edge per roll from 1.22% to 0.99%

But someone please check my work :)

Thanks.

You pay $25 (vig upfront) and $24 gets layed on the 6,8 and it pays $20 for a 1/1.2 payout.
