Taking another craps virgin during March Madness

The steak is mediocre, and they charge for refills of the rootbeer. I prefer their BBQ plate much more.

The steak dinner is great for the price. When I gambled a lot at the Village Pubs (owned by Ellis), I would order a dozen of the filet cut sirloins Rare and take them home and have friends over for a BBQ and I finished them on the grill. With the potato and garlic green beans it was a great free meal for 12.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I've never understood the appeal of it. For a buck or two more, you can get the BBQ platter. Any place in Vegas that charges for refills of soda sux.

Don't they make their own rootbeer? It's common to charge for refills in that situation.
Yep. Ellis Island brews root beer (and beer) themselves. But I recall that the RB used to be free refills. If that’s true, it ain’t true no more.Quote: ThisIsMyJamDon't they make their own rootbeer? It's common to charge for refills in that situation.

I also think the craps was $10 when I was there in October, but I could be wrong about that too.
Downtown Grand had $5 craps in October. That much I’m sure about.
I’d also bet that most (all?) locals casinos that have craps, have them at $5 minimums.

Yeah, I should have said their craps varies from $5-$10. Definitely played at $5 on some week nights.
Quote: Mission146Railroad Pass used to have $1 Craps, but I don't know if that's true anymore. If I can remember, I will try to call them later for you.

The Railroad Pass has been slots only since Covid and maybe before.

Saves me a phone call; thank you! They should update their website as it still has hours for Table Games on it.

I've never done this myself, but when I've read about it before, it actually sounds like a great, cheap way to get comfortable with how the game flows.
Do your own research if it sounds interesting.
